tastes great!
One of my favorite coffee regions is Latin America. This tastes great, smooth, perfect medium roast, low acidity, aroma is elightening. This was a good organic, toxin and mold free find. Pricy if your used to buying regular coffee from the grocery store, but this is worth it!

Wonderful taste!
I wanted to buy a good low acid coffee for my sister who loves coffee but has a sensitive stomach. I researched and found Java Guatemalan organic. It was highly recommended as good tasting as well as low acid. I bought some first to test before I sent an order to my sister. I couldn't believe the taste!!! So smooth mellow and flavorful!!! My sister loved it too. It's more expensive than the stumptown coffee I usually buy at $15/bag. But this Java coffee is just wonderful!! Sometimes I add Lairds ht chocolate with mushroom adaptogens and have a great Mocha. I grind all my beans and make my coffee at home to take with me. I don't buy at Starbucks or such places. So I can justify the price. I'm totally sold on this Java coffee!! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent flavor.
This is the best Guatemalan coffee I've ever had. Pricy but very good.

Bird-habitat-friendly cultivation. Husband enjoys the flavor.
Husband enjoyed this coffee very much. This is one of several brands recommended by Cornell bird center - also know for Merlin and eBird phone aps. This coffee comes in many flavors, and is grown as an understory plant in an ecosystem, instead of as a monocrop. The ecosystem supports many species, including birds.

Quality! Smooth! Tastefull! Delicious
To all my coffee snobs- this one is for you. This does not taste like factory store coffee that has been sitting for over 10 years.. this is the real stuff. It's fresh and smells like a little peace of heaven. You will not be disappointed. It's one of my favorite coffee companies that I order from online. Amazon literally delivered it to me in two days. So happy. You will never go back to the Starbucks stuff.

Wonderful flavor, ethically grown, pesticide free- you can't beat it!
I have never been a coffee drinker because I thought the flavor was too strong, bitter, burnt... then my curiosity was piqued when I tried some decent coffee from a local roaster, and decided to give coffee drinking another try because I enjoyed the complexity of the flavors (I am learning to distinguish flavors from wine so my palate is expanding in that sense). The description of this coffee was enough for me to order some, my husband loves coffee but he can't stand the burnt flavor of coffees like some of these "national" chains offer. What a symphony of flavors! Caramel, cocoa, and light notes of fruit. Goes really well with cream and sugar, I think the flavor is really brought out in that manner. The caffeine doesn't seem to be overwhelming like some other coffees I have tried, which is nice. My husband loves the flavor as well. I refuse to drink coffee that isn't organically grown as I do not like the thought of drinking pesticide residues, so it is nice knowing this is organically grown and free of pesticide residues. I really love that Java Planet buys their beans from farms that practice coffee growing that is more in harmony with nature and creates a better habitat for birds, insects, and other wildlife than many other coffee growers, growing in the shade under trees in the rainforest instead of clear cutting the forest. That is important to me, as is the Fair Trade status; I feel we need to be conscientious of our buying decisions as we ultimately vote with our wallets when we support businesses that are ethical in this regard. I would recommend this coffee to anyone! What a great value!

It's okay. Wish I could find the perfect cup of coffee
I mean this is okay but it wasn't a lovely yummy brightness you hope for with a good coffee. It is fresh it just doesn't blow you away that you're never switching . Darn. Another $17 waste that won't get used. The Morning Blend was better than this. I was looking to even find even better because that's trujoy a super duper good coffee and I'm still looking. I called the company the other day and she told me Ethiopian was her favorite so I did order some of that directly and I will see.I have to say though overall this company makes good coffee and you'll like one more than the other and you just have to try them out. It's trial and error and will cost you money but you will find the one that suits you best. I think this is the company to look at for your search.Update. I got that Ethiopian from the company and pay shipping but it's nothing special I don't know what that lady was talking about. I'm a good judge of coffee and that was just so so it wasn't terrible or anything but I was expecting super great and pure joy in my mornings. So far my favorite one is the good morning blend but I need to try the Peru and the samatra but I don't like dark roast they just get to burnt tasting. But I'm going to try them though.

Decaf? Very fruity taste. Coffee snob approved.
<edit> Is this really decaf? No where on the bag does it say it is decaf. If it is decaf; it is excellent. I suspect whomever wrote the description saw "low acid" and decided that meant decaf. I'm well past the stage of being able to tell decaf from regular by the "jitters". So, if you know, please let me know. I'd like to keep buying this, but I need decaf. <end edit><original review> I'm one of those coffee snobs who turns up my nose at decaf coffee. But, unfortunately, I'm at that stage of life where my choices are decaf, water, or belly problems. I still prefer a good quality real coffee, but this is the best tasting decaf I can remember. It is better than a lot of the "real" coffee I have tried. Very fruity, which covers for flavor lost in the decaffeination process. Add in that is it also low acid, and my belly thanks the producer.
