Best purchase of the year! I received a used ikea poang chair and ottoman and wanted to replace the covers to match my livingroom. I LOVE this look! The material is a thicker faux leather so I am not worried about dog nails poking through. The foam took a bit to work into place but I would expect that if you want a nice fit.If there is anything I am concerned with it's the stitching holding the seat and back pieces together. I out the foam in the back in first which was heavier. Then I did the seat. When working the seat foam into place I felt like a heard a stitch pop. If I did another, I would do the lighter seat foam first then the back.Overall, I highly recommend this cover if it is your ikea poang style. There were different styles made.

Returned. Does NOT fit the Ikea poang chair cushions as described way too small

I took a chance in this cover and am very happy with it. My poang chair is probably 8 years old. I have replaced the cushions a couple of times over the years. Every time I decide i’m going to replace it with a better chair, I sit in it and it is too comfy to part with. We have 2 frenchies that also love this chair…they shed their body weight every day. I got sick of covering the cloth cushions with a blanket. This cover seemed like a solution. It was difficult to put on. I had to remove the pads from the original cushions to make them fit. The foam was difficult to put into the new covers but after a sweaty struggle the results were worth it. The cover feels just like soft leather, it looks great and seems to be pup proof. Definitely worth the struggle.

Got this because I have severe allergies, this is well made and went on very easily. LOVE the head straps so my chair head rest no longer flops over/better than IKEA’s!!

Like product but torn

Had to replace sun faded black cover for IKEA rocker that was 20 years old.No longer carried in IKEA stores. But Amazon had it! Fit perfectly, added new foam - and chair looks better than when brand new!
