Work well
I used these to make a folding work shelf in my garage. It's very important to drill the mounting holes plumb, meaning exactly vertical. If they are not it will prevent these brackets from operating properly.

Folding cat shelf - these brackets worked perfectly!
I used these to put a shelf in front of a window for my cats. With the way the bed is positioned, there is not much room between the side of the bed and the wall/window so I didn't want to take up the space permanently. With these brackets, I can fold the shelf down when I need to access that side of the bed to put on new sheets, vacuum, etc. Then I fold the shelf back up for the cats. Very happy with them, installation was straightforward and no issues with the folding mechanism on either bracket. I am planning on buying them again to install another cat shelf.

Great, but tricky to install.
Need a combination of screwdrivers to attach these to the wall. For the 20 inch brackets, I was able to use several hex head drivers with a long phillips bit on my drill. Otherwise a very long screwdriver over a foot would be necessary!
