Works great for the water separator sensor on a 6.7 Cummins. If you have a Duramax, you need one of these in your tool box. I keep one in my truck box, just in case I have to change a fuel filter on the side of the road. I recommend you try once to change the filter with just what you have in your truck. I did, and realized I was missing a couple of basic tools that I needed. This would be one of them. You can do it with pliers but risk cracking the plastic water sensor, so use the right tool for the job. It's cheap, it works, there's no excuse. Order it.
