Outperforms "Bigger" Brands
I work outside in the Florida sun all day and now only wear long sleeve "moisture wicking" shirts, preferably with SPF. I have about 10 shirts from Columbia, Nike and Under Armour and this Naviskin is the best of all, at about half of the cost. Better fit, better feel, and better performance. I will be buying more of them.

Not warmer wearing this than a SS Shirt
I bought this to provide protection for my arms from the sun. I have recently started biking and hiking more and I hate the feeling of sun tan lotion on my skin. My initial concern was that I would be much hotter due to the lack of skin exposure on my arms. However, while I noted the lack of a breeze hitting my arms I really didn't feel any warmer than with a short sleeve shirt. I purchased an XL size and it was exactly as expected. I'm 6'1", 235 lbs and wear a 46 coat. According to my doctor I need to lose about 30 lbs so hopefully that will give you a size indication. The fit and finish of the shirt was good and the seams seem well done and the material appears to be good. The shirt hasn't been through the wash yet and I will update this review if I encounter any problems after using and washing it a couple of times.

shirt's tag missing SPF info
The long sleeve shirts fit very well. However, there is no info on the shirt's tag regarding "SPF 50+ UV" as described in Amazon. How come? That was a selling point and the reason that we purchased them. That is very useful info for the tag to remind us of the level of sun protection offered by the shirt.

Good product for the money
I purchased this shirt because I am prone to sun bumps. Little itchy spots, sometimes blistering, from sun exposure due to Basil cell skin cancer. I have used it about four times in the Florida sun. It does a good job. Only a little sun gets through.I am small framed and even the men's small is a bit big but that's pretty typical with my experience. I don't care. I just use it for Kayaking. The material feels very nice on the skin also. Perfect coverage for us people with sensitive skin from the sun. I will say this shirt is exactly the same same as the Baleaf shirt which I also purchased a few months ago. Look at it closely and you will see it's likely manufactured at the same plant in China but branded differently. That's ok by me. The Baleaf suddenly became unavailable in my size and that's why I went with the Naviskin. I will purchase again.

light weight and comfortable
I wore these shirts every day on the Camino de Santiago. They wick moisture/sweat away from the skin, but best of all, when there is a breeze it cools not just the torso but your arms as well, having a much greater cooling effect that a short sleeved shirt, while giving sun protection without the need for sunscreen lotion. (Exposed skin still needs sunscreen lotion)They held up to daily hand washing and aggressive wring out by hand. They do hold moisture so drying in less than direct sunshine can take a long time because of the moisture retention. We would wrap the shirts in our travel towels and wring them out into the towel and this would greatly reduce the residual moister and cut drying time dramatically.

Exactly as advertised
I have tired several of these type shirts for outdoor work to provide sun protection (kayaking, working outdoors, etc.). Some of the very expensive ones are quite nice, soft, and work well. The less expensive ones typically have a hard, scratchy feel so they're not good to wear all day.I am happy to report that these seem to bridge the gap quite nicely. They are soft and fit well. I bought a medium and it fits great (6'0 / 165 lbs). Surprisingly, they come packaged quite nicely as well. Not that you're gonna keep the thick plastic bag with a zipper. But, that was a nice touch.Overall, I am very please and will likely order more. For the money, I have not yet found a better deal...

Awkward fit, not comfortable
Poor cut/design/quality. The way the shirt is sewn together at the shoulders and around the collar is not very nice looking. Very bunchy with extra material, instead of a nice smooth, lay-flat hem. Additionally, while the shoulders were a good fit, the lower half or the torso part was waaaay too loose, even for a small.Material used was the silky feeling synthetic, which was ok, but its the type that shows any kind of bump on the skin beneath(nipples, hair, etc).

Very light and comfy
I ride a bike for exercise and during the week it's an hour long and on weekends it's 2-3 hours. I was tired of putting on sunscreen and I found this shirt. It is basically the long sleeve version of the lightweight dry wicking shirts I have. I can only hope that the UV protection promised is accurate. I rode for an hour when it was 85 degrees and did some good sweating and the shirt felt as cool as wearing short sleeves I guess. It wasn't like I was thinking, I've got to get this short off me. So it should work out quite well in the next 3 months when the weather turns hot.I bought the XL size. I'm 6'1" and 230 pounds. The sleeves are a touch long but the shirt itself fits very nice, which is to say slightly loose, not tight at all. If I were walking around the sleeves might bother me a bit. I'm mean they don't go down to my fingers but are just maybe an inch too long. Since I'm on a bike, I wear gloves and the length is a non issue. In fact, it means I'm covered all the way to the glove vs. having a small part of skin exposed.

Ok material and fit. Will see how it lasts!
It's alright. The material does not stretch at all. The cut is a bit boxy, with a wide neck hole and sleeves that taper substantially toward the wrist. The material also appears glossy in bright sun. I wonder how soon it will pill like other polyester clothing. Will update if I notice anything else!

Actually protects you!
Ok. So it is a bit warmer to wear a long sleeve shirt than a cotton T but when it comes to protection from the sun and being burned, its gold. I work outside and hate reapplying sunscreen every 30 min, which is also not practical and I dont have to when wearing this. I use a spray water bottle on some of the hottest days to spray myself down and shirt drys in about 5 min (or less) on a 35 degree day.

Good fit, too hot for summer.
The material is very shiny. It did not appear this way on the photo. Reminds me of those leg-ins you would see in old 80’s aerobic videos. Comfortable but slightly thicker material then I had hoped for, consequently it is warmer then you would want for a UV shirt. It will be good for fall and spring hikes, however I had hoped it would be my summer kayaking shirt.

Great sun protection shirt
Have worn this shirt when in the water for the last two weeks and does what it is supposed to. No Sunburn. Also love the feel. The size chart was accurate for me being just slightly loose which I like. Would be great for any activity in the sun as I did not seem overtly hot as I would be in a cotton t-shirt. Also seems durable and at a much better price than some brand names. Will be buying some more in different colours.
