Tarot Original 1909 Circular Deck (Tarot Original 1909, 4)

Instead of being limited to uprights and reversals like the usual rectangular cards, this circular form allows infinitely more information to be extracted from a card during a reading. It feels like each Rider-Waite card that we all know and love just blossomed and opened up like a flower and became so much more complex. Even simple 3-card readings are now more nuanced. Just throw out the guidebook that comes with it. Left is past and right is future? That will conflict with all the fixed position spreads. Make up your own meanings of what the various degrees mean.

I love how much more meaning comes with this set .. there's so many more positions for the cards so that means so much more depth in meaning, I love these cards...

I love, love love this new round format! Pamela "Pixie" Colman-Smith's iconic artwork is enhanced by being enclosed in a circle. The round cards gives you a totally new experience when reading. It's like stepping into a magical portal, it opens the cards to more interpretations. The quality of the paper is great too. I absolutely love the round box that the deck come in too.

The rws has never been my favorite tarot but this edition has fixed a lot of those personal complaints. Besides the favorable round cards, there is minimal border, no text (numerals only) and a nice color contrast.It comes with a sturdy, round box that makes it look like a cheese wheel and it's adorable. The companion book is small with color photos for spreads and reading round cards how-tos. There is a brief description of each card but no photo.It's a lovely cardstock and should shuffle well after the initial new cards stuck together phase.Very happy with this purchase.

This is my first circle deck, and I love it (although they are soooo difficult to shuffle, so be aware).Beautiful deck.

These are a really fun version of the RWS deck. The circular design basically zooms in on the main image of each card, which means that some of the usual background images are cropped out. If you read intuitively, this gives you less imagery to work with but that could focus a reading more. Printed on nice, thick cardstock

Omg these tarot cards are just so fun. I love shuffling them and they read well. They're the traditional Rider wait deck which made It easier for me to read. I really like the circular shape of the card and that Makes it even more fun to read

Acabei de receber e gostei muito. A caixa é grande e bem durinha. As lâminas parecem resistentes. Não achei tão difícil de embaralhar, mas é um pouco incômodo. Como vou usar para estudos não me importo muito com esse detalhe. Se você tiver mãos pequenas e dificuldade de embaralhar talvez seja melhor investir no deck tradicional pra não passar raiva. Entretanto, esse deck redondo é um charme, estiloso demais, eu recomendo muito.

Aunque es el tarot más fácil de interpretar, esta edición no es para novatos. La forma circular y ma forma en que se barajea es diferente y da más detalle según las cartas que hayan quedado juntas, en qué posición, si convergen, va en dirección contraria o en diagonal.

É bem acabado, o material é bom e apesar do tamanho das cartas desliza muito bem. Eu sempre quis ter esse "diferentão", e gostei. Tbm o formato redondo possibilita a utilização em magia com as cartas.
