Easy Listing Music
The piano music is great for background while people are eating dinner in our senior dinning room.

Easy but juicy arrangements.
Great selection of songs, in attainable keys for beginners and improvers. Most 'piano reductions' are in appallingly complex [for beginners] flat keys with handfuls of notes. As a teacher I am really pleased with this series. Dan Coates provides the framework of the melody and well structured approximations of the original harmonies. I'm really enjoying playing through all of these. I have the 1930's and the Movie Themes books by Dan also.

Excellent Arrangements
Coates arrangements capture the essence of the music, simple but to the point and beyond. Challenging even in the simplest arrangements. Nice historical piece at the beginning of each piece. Have all 10 of the Decade by Decade arrangements.

Easy arrangements
Love this book, I haven't played piano for many years but the arrangements are really easy to follow for a re.beginner. Lots of lovely tunes too!

Wonderful for beginners.
If you like oldies, this is a great book. Music is easy to read, but also very nicely arranged. I've tried others but I like Dan Coates' arrangements the best. They really have the sound of the original works.
