Great set for beginners
Most of the tools aren’t the sharpest but they are usable. Better than the cheaper sets you see. Case is really nice and so is the quality of the tools. Out of the box they are decent and it’s a great set to start out with when your just learning and don’t want to spend hundreds for each tool

Finely-Made Tools
As a leatherworker, I'm always interested in new tools, so when these became available, I jumped at them based on appearance and description alone.I wasn't disappointed! The design, fit, and finish of these tools is exceptional. The handles are beautifully turned. Ferrules are tight and fitted properly. The steel polish is superb.Nothing is perfect, though. Edges come needing a touch of final sharpening, particularly the skiving knife (which feels wonderful the hand), which arrived quite dull. No problem (for me). I don't typically use wood burnishers of the type included in this set, but the pointy end is handy for use in corners. The edge groover is a highlight in this set, along with the knife. The multi-point awl set is a nice-to-have for hand stitching, strings, and so on. All-in-all, you could squeak by with this set alone as a travel tool set for small items, along with needles, thread, and preferably some stitch markers or a wheel. The case, however, is garbage. It's cheaply made and it's garish. Moreover, the cover popped completely off on first opening of one tool set (I also ordered the edge beveler set), screws freely falling out on their own. Too bad, too, as the INTERIOR of the case uses nicely fitted, dense foam. I was unlikely to keep the case anyway, however. Forewarned is forearmed! I suggest the manufacturer use a plain wood box in a decent quality wood instead, using the same interior foam.Great leather tools as good as I've seen made anywhere, including the US, UK, France, and Korea. A very large step up from my Osborne tools.

Great set to start leatherworking
I just recently started to learn how to do leatherwork so this was more or less my first set of tools. I like that this set contains a nice variety of tools that gives you a little bit of everything you need to get started. I don't really have much to compare the quality to but this seems really good. All of the handles are very solid and the metal feels very heavy and durable. The tools seem to work really well. I can't say I'm producing quality pieces with them, but I believe it's more a lack of skill while learning as opposed to an issue with the quality of these tools. The only thing I don't like about this set is the case. Yes, it provides a way to keep your tools organized but the quality of the box itself isn't that great. The hinges are really weak and the screws holding them in place can't support the weight of the lid they hold. Compared to buying all the pieces separately this seemed to me, as if it was a better deal.

Looks pretty but not made for heavy duty projects
Returning due to lack of durability. If you want tools that last maybe choose another brand. Case was beautiful but not made for longevity. Purchased Weaver tools made in USA instead.
