Great set
Bought this for my shop and it is working out great. I only have a few hours of use. I'll know more about the edge retention once I finish a few jobs with them. They do come sharp out of the box. Also includes steel sharpening plates which I like more than the aluminum type. To strop the blade I use polishing compound on thin cloth on top of the plate. It work well and fits nicely. It is worth noting that these are D2 steel which can rust. At the end of the day I coat them along with the rest of my tools in beeswax or leather conditioning oil. Which ever I have on the table at the time. I think the only down side is I think these are numbered backward. If that is a defect then it is going to make ordering singles awkward. Not to mention the confusion it will cause when talking to other leather crafters.

Great value for the money
A set of these edge bevelers plus the sharpening guides and case cost about the same amount as one high-end edge beveler. I've not used any of the high end bevelers, but I have now used the smallest and next to smallest of the TLKKUE bevelers on several projects. Overall, I am quite pleased with them. They came already sharpened and well polished. Fit and finish on the handle and blade is excellent. Unlike some bevelers that create a flat edge, these create a rounded edge. If you look closely at the cutting edge, you will see that it is curved. This is why you use the curved side of the sharpening guide and not the flat side. My only other beveler, a cheap Tandy creates a flat edge, which is not ideal for edge beveling. Unlike others, the box mine came in seems well made, though I don't think it is necessary. The only issue I had was with the tip of the smallest beveler digging into the finish side of the leather at times. You can see this in the first photo, where I intentionally demonstrated the end result. The second photo shows how this can mar the edge. If you look at the top of the larger circle you can see how I gouged the edge and had to widen it to try to cover up the blemish. At first I thought it was just me as a novice leatherworker, but just last night I realized that the tips (prongs) of the beveler were quite sharp, with a burr on top. This meant that if you angled the beveler a bit too high, or if you came to a soft spot in the leather, the prong would dive into the flesh and cut a notch out of the dge. There is no need for the tips to be sharp, since they are not part of the cutting surface. In fact, you want them to ride over the leather, not dig in. The fix was easy: I used a medium grit stone to slowly round over the tips and then polished with stropping compound. Now the tip is much less prone to dig into the leather. This kind of fettling of a new tool is commonly required and does not reflect poor manufacturing. I've bought much higher end tools that had to be fine tuned and polished in similar ways.

Really useful tool set
Regardless of the price and excellent packaging, that is comparable with many famous brands. The price is almost nothing for who knows this tool set and how to use it, but the quality is unbelievable. I have never seen any company packing stuff like this in this price range. However, I will be back here to leave another review after using it for the next long time.

Poor quality control
Had to return the first one because they didn't include the sharpening stones. The replacement they sent didn't have them either.
