HarperCollins The One Minute Manager Meets the Monkey

Seriously everyone there are many books out there that you should read - I would put this at top of the list along with MUltipliers.It really gives you an insight into how best managing yourself, your relationship with your manager and more importantly your team. Get this and Multipliers and combine the contents together to take you the next level.

Every manager should read this book. It is a quick and easy read, but it sure packs a punch. I implemented changes immediately and I'm sure I'll be referencing back to it for years to come. Do yourself the favor and read it.

Great book - I was new to leading a team and wasn’t aware of just how many monkeys I was carrying until I read this book!Where I thought I was supporting my team I wasn’t because I wasn’t allowing them to learn, take ownership. I was also not helping myself by doing everyone else’s tasks meaning I didn’t have time to reflect and look grow my team individually and as a whole.This has really supported my development and how I develop my teamI have read the book through twice initially and I know it will be a re-read again just to keep me on track and support birds eye thinkingFully recommend

If you think your are working long hours, week ends and holidays but still have lot of pending work then you must read this book. you will find out the actual reason. I'm cursing my self for not reading this book a decade back.
