Just what I was looking for! The tallest height option is good enough for our purposes, but do wish it offered just a bit more height. It's hard to find though for typical floor lamps and this one is among the tallest options you can find on Amazon. It brings an elegant coziness to the space that the overhead light just could never do. Comes with an led bulb--not my favorite but an easy change and it does put off a good amount of light. The lamp shade is a good size and could easily be switched out if you don't like white. The switch is a typical click turn style. I would expect an aesthetic lamp like this to function with a dimmer knob or a pull chain but that’s just my preference for this style floor lamp. It has a great base weight to it and was very easy to assemble. It is made with quality materials-- the chord is even threaded! You don't find that often. The extendable arm swivels smoothly and something to note is that it's designed to function one directionally. And the gold finish is nice as well--not too bright or brassy looking. Overall, happy with the purchase and love it!

I was so pleasantly surprised at this lamp. It looks and feels so much more expensive than what I paid. The gold looks high quality, not easily scratched and matches all of my frames. The base has great weight to it so it’s sturdy. It was packaged wonderfully so the shade was in perfect condition with no bends. Super easy to put together. It’s a tad shorter than I expected for a floor lamp but that’s on me for not looking at the dimensions. Otherwise, highly recommend. And comes with a bulb!

I was sadden to junk our old family floor lamp that we had for over 70 years and doubtful if we find something comparable that would last several generations for us. I believe this lamp is it. It's very handsome with the gold finish; I was surprise as to how easy it was to assembly - only a few parts and the lamp shade itself came already assemble, heavy base--all round 5 stars. Beautiful and high quality. I originally bought a different floor lamp but returned it because I kept thinking about this one. It fits perfectly in my living room and you'd think it cost much more than it actually was. Really enjoy this.
