Empty promises and endless "features"
Received 6 in one shipment. Right off the bat, 5 didn't work. 6th one died a week later. I replaced the batteries in the first 5, they worked again for a little while, but now they don't. These definitely aren't water proof enough for a rainy place like Seattle. Not even close. To top it off, there's multiple ways the wires have been coiled to ship, most of which cause a knotted mess. The description implies they are on some sort of spindle. They aren't. The soldering and construction inside is crap. It looks like they tried to save a buck by using crazy short pieces of wire to the battery harness, which appears to be slowly breaking under the stress, or at the very least, interrupting the connection. Basically, you can shake it and get the lights to come on, but the lights don't stay on and the battery doesn't charge, because the wiring is too tight. I tired to work with this seller to address the issues, but they only seemed concerned about APPEARING to care. What they actually care about is their 5 star reviews. I'm certain I will get a canned reply to this, which gives the impression that they are sorting it out, to help reassure other customers that, even if the product turns out to be a turd, there's going to be a quick and easy solution that results in the product they are reading about in the description.Well, dear discerning consumers. This product is exactly what you pay for, not what is described. And if you enjoy attempting to carefully uncoil 33ft of copper wire, without kinking it, only to discover that the product is a one-hit-wonder, working for the first night (if you are lucky) and then petering off exponentially... well then you're gonna love this one. It even has a feature reminiscent of the classic vending machine kick! If you place the solar cell at perfectly horizontal, then give a quick, strong, tap to the bottom right corner, you may just get another full charge and light! But probably not. If placed on a subwoofer, these do, in fact, have a "feature" of lighting along with the bass!In summary:Cheap batteries that will need replacing. Bad wiring. Not waterproof.

I REALLY loved the delicate look of these lights and ordered 2 sets of them for some large houseplants I have. But, they not only look delicate, they truly are. Be very careful that you do not get the tiny copper wires tangled-- take your time. I took the first coil of lights out to test it and the solor panel charged it in only 1 sunny day. However, untangling it was a nightmare. It turned into a bird's nest of tangles so I put it away till I had more time. Next day, the untangling process was over an hour. hile I was doing this, the unit broke when the little wire came out of the solor panel. Live and learn! Took my time with the other one and although it took a while I got it untangled without breakage. The tiny lights do look beautiful but I probably wouldn't buy them again due to the following:1. the amount of time and care it took to safely unfurl them2. They don't stay lit all night, the light strength is pretty faint, and they don't last all night-- going go out after about 3 hours.

I have ordered several sets of these lights. They work well and give off just the right amount of light for my meditation garden. I like the copper wiring so much better than the green string lights. It is easy to wrap around the tree or shrub and is hardly noticeable. If this is helpful, click yes below.

I just purchased these lights and I am not happy even though they are beautiful around my palm tree
I just purchased these lights and I am not happy even though they are beautiful around my palm tree.. I am very disappointed because only one of the 2 pack is working. It took me a very long time to unwrap and when I was finished, it was broken very close to the pole, so that is now useless to me. I tried to be as gentle as possible because I saw how thin the wire was. I purchased similar item, and the packaging was way better. I cannot return it now because the other one is already wrapped around my palm tree. I will not buy again because I don't want to be stuck with a product that is so expensive and useless. I gave two stars because I am not happy with only one out of two that is working.

5* if you swap the batteries
These lights are decently made, but the batteries in the ones I got didn't last more than 2-3 hours. The batteries are AA and you can swap out the factory 600mAh battery with a higher-capacity one. (Finally a use for those old 1600mAh cells I had lying around.) All you need is a fine-point phillips-head screwdriver. The positive lead wire is juuuust long enough to do the job, but you might have to slide the contact out to remove the battery. The solder connection isn't that great, so be careful. (If you're handy with a soldering iron you can reinforce it.) The casing on one battery had been worn down, probably from the terminal lead rubbing against it.

faulty...only work for a couple of minutes after charging all day long.
Don't work. I have the solar panel pointed outside all day long and the lights might be on for a couple of minutes. One thing which I did not see as part of the description was that they would only turn on when it is dark. Maybe some see that as a given, but even if it is dark outside and I have a light on inside, they do not come on until I cover the solar panel. It did take me a good 20-30 minutes to untangle them so I could put them up - if they would actually turn on, they would be nice.I would not recommend these.

Work great and what a nice decorating touch!
I used these in my garden window. I wound them around the wire shelving. The result is fantastic. I positioned the solar panel in the corner where they get direct sunlight all day. Sure enough, when it's dark, they come on and light up the window beautifully. Just love them. They stay on for a few hours as our days are still short. But I know that once the daylight is longer, they will stay on longer. I have already recommended to several as that's a feature that most people notice immediately coming in at night.

They look really cool when working
I ordered several boxes and haven't had a chance to hangs them them all yet so far I've wrapped 3 palm trees. After day 1 of daylightThe first tree doesn't seem to be working only 3 bulbs the other 2 did light up but 1 didn't last long. They look really cool when working.Biggest complaint is trying to unravel them they get tangled so easily.
