Works great!
I was hesitant to order this at first because of the low reviews. My table saw came secondhand without this part, and I couldn’t find a replacement anywhere. After another rough kickback, I decided to give it a shot. It’s a near-perfect fit—I just used a Dremel to make a small notch for the insert, and it went in great. I’m really happy with it. Some folks don’t seem to understand that “universal” means you might need to adapt it a bit. If that’s a dealbreaker, maybe you shouldn’t be using a saw in the first place.

Anti dust blade protector that works well
I bought this for my Harbor Freight Hercules table saw. I've had the saw for about 4 years and it works well except for sawdust collection. The supplied riving knife in this QWORK product was not the right size to replace the Hercules knife, so I had to adapt the plastic guard to make it fit the Hercules knife. I removed the screws holding the guard cover together and carefully removed plastic (with a small saw, chisel, or file) near the back where the Hercules riving knife needed room. That done, it was a simple matter of re-assembling the guard and attaching the guard through a hole near the back of the Hercules riving knife. When used with a dust collector, the blade guard works well and greatly reduces sawdust coming up from the blade. It has much less effect if you use a shop vac for a dust collector.

It didn’t fit the saw I bought it for so we returned it!

Depends on what you are using it for!
This item had several mixed reviews, but I read through them and bought it anyway. I have a older Ridgid tablesaw that doesn't have any type of riving knife or splitter, nor have I found one made for it for anywhere near a reasonable price... So, I built my own. This guard was very easy to work with and very easy to modify for my needs. The vacuum hose attaches without any issues at all and it does a decent job with controlling the dust when making rip cuts. I have it attached in a way that it can be easily removed when using my sled or dato blade. It does have a small burr where the lower pieces of plastic meet that will need to be filed down to stop it from catching your workpiece. I like the fact that it covers my blade, but it is clear so I can still see what is going on underneath when making a cut. Will this fit directly on your saw?? Probably not. You will need to modify the fit for your specific needs.I DO recommend this item! and I would purchase again should the need arise.

Did not work
Did not really fit my table saw. Very difficult to figure out. Did not use.

Would not fit my saw even if I had modified this
Was unable to adapt this to my table saw, without actually cutting and drilling my equipment. I didn't want to do anything that permanent to the original setup. I had hoped I could do some cutting or drilling on this to make it fit where my riving knife goes, but there was no way to do so and still allow this to even clear the blade. But the build quality was good, and had I been able to actually use it, I would've been happy.

Works perfectly with my Delta contractors saw, after a few modifications.
I bought my old Delta contractors saw used and it was missing the splitter. I’ve been using Micro-jigs great mini splitters but wanted something that would help with dust collection. This has been the perfect solution. I made some modifications the will void any warranty and may weaken the strength of the splitter. I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU DO WHAT I DID!That said with the replacement of the bolt that holds the splitter to the table with a star nut and a few notches cut to allow it to slip in and out without completely removing the bolt and to account for the inset. I know have a blade guard and splitter tat work perfectly with my saw but is easy to remove if I need to cut dados. I had to use a heat gun to soften the plastic shop-vac adapter I used to connect my hose to the top of the blade guard (final setup is different than the pictures for dust extraction) but otherwise it works great and is a solid and secure fit. Couldn’t be happier!

Works fine. Modifications needed.
I bought this for two reasons: 1) an OEM blade guard for my circa 2000 Powermatic 64 is not available and 2) the price. I had to do considerable modifications to make it fit, but I was expecting this based on previous reviews. The guard will be an added layer of protection, but it is not perfect. The over-the-topstyle are better in every way except price. See my photos for what I did if you happen to have a Powermatic contractor saw like mine (which I love...).
