VALI Stainless Steel Shaker with Built-In Mixing Lid and Mixer Ball, 700ml (24 oz)

I was very excited to receive this shaker bottle and begin using it. I looked around for a quality shaker bottle that's really odor resistant and thought this would be the one for me but it is not. I have used it for a couple weeks and unfortunately I dislike this product more than I like it.My initial impression is that bottle seems of okay quality, nothing extremely special that stood out. The steel is thin which makes it vulnerable to hot and cold temperatures (not really an issue just highlighting some features.) This also makes it pretty noisy, especially when empty. The cap itself is entirely made of plastic and has some sort of plastic cage-like pattern at the bottom of the cap, which I assume is to help mix the powders a little better and prevent the mixer from blocking the drinking hole. That cage is not removable and makes it a huge pain to try to clean the cap (actually it is nearly impossible to clean thoroughly due to this). I believe due to this cap, I ended up having some odor from my powders. Another issue with the cap is the gasket. The gasket is also pretty thin and after using it for two weeks it seems to no longer seal properly on the bottle. Eventually this bottle starts to leak after some shakes and no matter how much I tighten it, the seal is never good enough. The mixing itself works alright, probably four-six tiny clumps of powder per usage. Some things I do like is the storage cup and the overall look. The finish is matte black which looks pretty cool and the storage cup holds nearly 64 grams of protein but get packed in pretty tight. It's been about two weeks and the paint is starting to rub off along the edge of the cap with considerable care during use. Some people love this product but it just simply does not work for me.

Shaker bottle is of good quality and does the job. No leaking, and the twist storage compartment was large enough for about 3 large scoops of protein powder. Loved that it also came with a mixing ball even though it has a built in agitator.However, it is not double walled, so the bottle will sweat. This was the biggest issue for me because I use my protein coffee powder over ice. I also noticed (as seen in the pics) that because it was sweating, the storage compartment cup was actually filling up with water. If I had another powder in that cup, it would've been ruined. It is also important to note that because it is single walled, the outside will get hot/cold depending on what temperature liquids you place inside. I would advise that if you used this with hot liquids that you grab it from the storage cup at the bottom. Otherwise, you could end up with a nasty burn.All in all it's a great shaker bottle, & I did love the added touch that the MFG sent me an email to which I could reply. However, my search continues for a stainless steel shaker bottle that is double walled with a storage cup.

Not a bad mixer bottle by any stretch of the imagination. I prefer it primarily because of the stainless steel.I'll mention the bad first.CONS:To get a secure seal on the bottle, you have to tighten it as hard as possible! (This will become annoying until I get use to it)The sticker on the side of the bottle left a sticky residue, and upon scraping it off with a razor blade, the black paint faded a little bit.PROS:no plastic + BPA FreeDurableThe storage container hold more than a full scoop of protein mixthe lid securely closesStylishOut of the packaging, I filled with water and began to shake it as hard as I could, It began to leak, but it's due to the fact that you have to Tighten the cap as hard as possible. This might be a problem for people with small / weak hands, or somebody that shoes did a demanding workout with their hands involved.I'm looking forward to using it, the lower container is quite large and closes securely. WHEN USED PROPERLY their should be no problem.

*EDITED* The first cup I received didn't come with the shaker ball as described, the lid was broken upon arrival, leaked & I ruined the black coating on the outside trying to get the HUGE sticker off so I couldn't return it. The company contacted me directly after leaving my review & kindly sent a replacement cup. The new cup has been working good. No leaks & mixes up my protein shake without clumps. However the giant sticker is still on the side making it look riduculous & the black coating on the outside was already peeling off upon arrival & gets worse with every wash. The lid is a poor design too. The outer ring just spins independanly making it really hard to tighten all the way to prevent leaks.

I've had this shaker for about a month or so now. Only pro I have with it is the matte-black color and logo design of the shaker. The shaker came with a sticker that was extremely difficult to remove, and it still has the adhesive residue despite how much I've scrubbed off - seems pointless if I have to go out of my way to buy a special adhesive remover. I bought this shaker to bring with me to campus to keep my almond milk cold while I sit through my classes before I have the chance to workout - I have to commute about 45 minutes to my college so it's difficult to bring much with me. While it keeps it chill for a couple hours than a plastic one would, I wish it had better insulation. The main problem I have is that the cap leaks despite how hard I twisted it shut... I keep my shaker on the outside of my backpack and the first day it leaked my drink all over my backpack and almost got to some of the books I had (it was only tilted slightly at an angle for a short while, not upside-down or on it's side). I wouldn't recommend this product unless they change the place they had it manufactured from. Now I have to be careful when I shake it to make sure it doesn't leak on the sides of the cap and I can't really travel with it anywhere besides my cup holder in my car... waste of money for me.
