Samsung EO-IC100 USB Type-C Headphones, Sound by AKG, Black

Bought these to use with my Google Pixel 8, as using a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle resulted in a hissing noise during quiet parts of songs and when changing tracks. Not with these though - these headphones are great, no background hissing, really good quality for the price - and they stay in the ear without an issue. The only improvement I'd make would be it would be good if the lead were a little bit longer.

These work exceptionally well. No strange fuzzy sounds, all crystal clear and perfect.

As someone in need of a USB-C headset for a new phone that had no 3.5 analogue audio socket, I didn't want to start by investing in something expensive, big, or wireless (which would then need its own charging regime), which is why I bought these. Now, they were a little cheaper than the same sold directly by Samsung but, without purchasing the same product from Samsung, it would not be right for me to suggest that these are anything other than genuine.In any case, the sound quality is pretty awful. There is absolutely no bass in the sound that these output and even the treble is terrible. The microphone either has some overzealous noise cancellation that it also cancels most of your voice too, and makes it inaudible to people listening to you, or the microphone is just so plainly bad that it just cannot pick up your voice unless you hold it right next to your lips.I was hoping that a firmware updated, which I installed through my phone, would fix these issues. But no, it's still a pretty bad product. I would therefore highly encourage you to stay away from it and spend a little more and get something that is of much better quality, so that you'd want to keep it for years rather than quickly turn into more e-waste.

In terms of sound quality, durability, and comfort, this would be 5 stars.But due to the wire touching my phone screen, it can somehow interact with the touch screen and it can get very annoying. For example, when I'm watching YouTube on my phone, the wire touching the screen can cause it to make me skip part of a video (when you double tap the screen and you can skip 5 seconds thing) or press on another random video. It can get very vexing and annoying most of the times

I love this headset as it a has a great balanced sound, for my ears, anyway. It also helps when you want to save battery on your device when you use a bluetooth headphone. Great for when you're on a motorcycle too. Make sure you have a type-c input of course!

The quality of this product is very good. The photo shows a manufacturer's box but that was not how mine was shipped to me. Mine was shipped in a small bag.
