I got this to replace the original lever, which snapped off when I was "flooring" it down the road. This has a similar acceleration control and doesn't cause errors when you power it on. As long as you are comfortable with opening the heat shrink tubing around the 3 pin connector, you'll do just fine. Needs a small Phillips screwdriver and a moderate star bit.

As you can see in the photo, the connection in this part is wired backwards. (Red meets green and green meets red). There is only one direction to connect the wire so it’s impossible for me to connect it in reverse. I installed this not realizing the manufacturer wired it backwards, and it burned up my scooters motherboard. Ruined my scooter because you guys didn’t wire the part properly. Unbelievable. Going to see what I can do about recovering some of these damages due to faulty part.

This hall switch worked perfectly to fix my 36volt G2 gotrax scooter brake switch. Gotrax was out of stock and all that i have researched were not the correct wire direction for the handle bars. Had to reroute wire thru the rubber grommet but worked very well. Just take old connector and wire to new switch.

I’m on my third one for my i9max scooter. The first one worked flawlessly, drove tons of miles. The throttle moved a little and since there was no strain-relief the wired popped out of the throttle. toast. So I ordered another - exact same one again from Amzn. This one had different color wires and appears wired differently, but the connector is the same, so it plugs right in like last time. This time - no luck - just basically hot wires it for full speed. So i was banking that this one was an anomaly. Got a replacement. Same problem. So bottom line - configuration control appears to be an issue and I really hope my main control board is not damaged now (not sure). The new throttles would just immediately max out the speed without even pushing the throttle. I tried to swap the wires around with no luck. Need some help - still stuck with no thottle.

I replaced the brake trigger on a Hiboy perfectly With no wire cutting required, the harness receives the cable perfectly. This unit does not have a lug on the metal tightening strap, so you have to tighten it down really hard, but electronically, it functions perfectly. Worth every penny
