Used for ring finger tuft fracture
I used this for a tuft fracture on ring finger. I decided to buy this to protect my finger during work or tasks which might impact healing. This is good for sleeping too (might have to tape though, as can slip off. I wrapped a seperated cotton wool pad around finger before placing on as its more comfortable. The rubber insert it came with, i found to be rather tight and uncomfortable to wear. - So i used cotton wool (seperated so it was thinner to wrap around my finger) worked better. Regards to the design: think would also be better if the nail part was covered as would provide more protection from any further injury. haBasically good enough. Does help a bit.

ok
These do the job of keeping the finger straight, however the edges are very rough plastic and start to rub after a while. I could really only wear them with a plaster or micropore underneath.

Right for the job but needs better more durable tape
The plastic"cradle" is brilliant, the middle one fitted my middle right finger perfectly and the others would fit my little finger and my thumb. But they come with stretch covers which are really hard to pull over, and the velcro tape is not a great fit and during normal use it gets less able to stick together. I used tape over the velcro to secure it and that works OK.

Not sure about this
So they good but my fingers got sweaty and the rubber kept coming off so didn’t work with me but I’m sure they will work with others

Better than the hospital!
The one the hospital gave me was too big, so I bought these. I’ve got small hands and the middle one is ok for my ring finger. However, I’ve removed the strap (it’s just attached with velcro) and I substituted surgical elastoplast tape, because it kept slipping off and my finger joint has to be kept flat for 6-8 weeks. Otherwise, a good buy.

Hook&Loop Tape very Poor
The hook & loop (velcro) tape is awful, especially if it gets wet. Within two days of use the splint was useless as the tape no longer held it in place

Mallet finger injury. This product works well.
For mallet finger. These come in small, medium and large as well as finger sleeves. Ideal replacement as the one the hospital gave me was too large. Once the velcro gets too dirty, it is easy enough to cut off and replace with surgical tape to keep in place.
