No-Nonsense, Quality Cream - Especially for Eczema
*Independent, non-compensated, verified buyer.*Purchased for my son's eczema, I have been more than happy with the results we have seen and have begun purchasing bottles for myself and my daughters. It does take a bit to absorb, but no more than any other heavy cream, and it does not leave a "slime" coat.• For those of you with little ones going through the same early years eczema: I found that applying 3-4 times per day dramatically cut down on outbreaks and reduced the need for cortisone. Use liberally, but not so much as to leave a tacky layer when dry.• For everyday adult use, I am happy with the results applying morning and evening (after towel drying from shower) because I don't have a slimy, tacky feeling or a shimmery glitter appearance from the other stuff I've used. I was trying to find an adjective to describe how it feels, but the best I can come up with while maintaining accuracy is the cliche of silk. It seriously seems to tighten your skin a bit and feels like those silk shirts that were so popular in the 90's (now I'm aging myself)!Do NOT put this on so thick that you have a tacky feeling. I think some people are just slathering it on like the normal, watery lotions you buy at Walmart. Which would account for some of the negative reviews. A bottle will last both me and my son, doing all the aforementioned applications because I'm a lotion addict, a good month and a half. Not bad for the price!

So expensive but worth it if you have Eczema
I've had eczema flare ups in my adult life. In the 1990's a dermatologist told me to use Oilatum soap to mitigate these issues. At that time you could actually find it in the U.S. at certain retailers. At this time I cannot find it. This lotion is AMAZING. Seriously. If you have skin issues this is amazing. No smell and yet a thick consistency that isn't greasy and truly works. It adds a shine to my skin without being greasy. Ladies-great for after shaving to give you that glow. Why oh why is this so expensive? It lasts a long time so I cannot complain too much. I also really appreciate that the bottle has braile (the last one I purchased anyway). Awesome as in the U.S. I just don't see/feel braile on many products. Respect!

Amazing for Skin Sensitivities
I have skin allergies. I am allergic to a range of things like dispenser soap to flannel. When I come in contact a light flare up with mean my skin turns bright red. A major flare up and my skin looks like it has small whip marks. I got this on a recommendation and it has changed my life. For me it seems to work like a barrier and protect my skin. Gave some to my cousin who has the same allergies. Also, I have very dry hands that usually crack and bleed. This year they have been fine. I wear daily, all over, right out of the shower.

Worked on my 6 week old's flaky skin
This product is awesome. My LO has been suffering from an extremely dry rash on his face and shoulders since he was 2 weeks old. At 6 weeks I began to consider maybe it was more than a heat rash. He skin was so dry and scaly. After only 4 days (1 application a day) he's skin has cleared up almost completely. His face is soft & bump free thanks to this product.

Hydrates without leaving you greasy
As a child (30+ years ago), my mom would use this cream on my skin and I continued to have dry skin as an adult so I’m very happy that I found this on Amazon. It keeps my skin hydrated without feeling greasy. No more dry, flaky skin. Love it and will continue to order it.

Cream for eczema & irritating skin conditions caused skin irritation
I have contact dermatitis and am limited in the products I can use to hydrate my skin. My allergens/irritants are screened out by Skin Safe App and this product showed up as "Safe for Me." The first time I used it, it burned my skin so badly and several days later, it is still itchy and irritated. I checked the ingredient label and there is an asterisk next to benzyl alcohol, noting that it "may cause allergic/local skin reactions or irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis)." In my 3 rounds of patch testing, I had no reaction to benzyl alcohol, but I certainly did to this cream. I would caution anyone with sensitive skin from using this product. If I had been able to read the warning labels on the bottle, I never would have purchased.

Decent
I use this for the eczema/dry skin on my hands. I really do like the product and it makes my hands feel soft but it smells bad and even my boyfriend commented on how it stinks. Possibly I got one that’s expired..
