Fresh and very finely milled
I switched to a grain-free diet many years ago and I enjoy baking, which means I have tried a lot of different brands of coconut flour. Some of them have been acceptable, others were truly awful. Bob's Red Mill has given me the most consistent good results, but as it's been getting more expensive I've been looking around for another option. I saw a flash sale for Viva Naturals Organic Coconut Flour and decided to take a risk on a brand I've never used before. It was definitely worth it.This coconut flour is very finely and uniformly milled, and the small clumps in the bag break apart easily. It's neither dry nor greasy, and it smells and tastes fresh. The coconut flavor is very mild, and when mixed with other ingredients the flavor is essentially undetectable. I always measure flours by weight, and there's been no need to adjust recipes to account for any differences between this flour and my usual brand. This is easily one of the best coconut flours I've used. My only slight complaint is about the packaging, as the bag has a thin ziplock seal that split away from the side of the bag the second time I opened it. However, it isn't a major issue as, knowing it will take me quite a while to use the entire 4lb bag, I was already planning to transfer the flour to a freezer-safe container to keep it as fresh as possible. When I do start running low, I'll definitely be reordering this!

Good for Keto
I'm loving this coconut flour. I am on a Keto diet and needed something I could use to replace wheat based flour. I works quite well when paired with Amaranth flour or another alternative flour.

Taste Buds Just Went on a Tropical Vacation (Thanks to this Flour!)
The coconut flour is a baking essential with pleasant flavor. The finely milled texture and mild flavor integrated seamlessly into recipes, producing consistently delicious gluten-free and low-carb treats. I noticed fresher and less greasy texture than other brands, making it a reliable choice for everything from breakfast, desserts or sauces.

A nice low-carb product, but keep in mind....
The product arrived very quickly. It’s economical and just as advertised. It does have a mild coconut taste, which I liked. As mentioned in other reviews, it takes a bit of effort to use —more eggs are required to keep it moist, though if you want to keep the cholesterol down you can try other things, like unsweetened applesauce. One notable caveat for newbies: I’ve always liked coconut in cookies, candy, etc. but wasn’t aware that in higher quantities it can adversely affect your digestion. I enjoyed a stack of six pancakes using the coconut flour, but a few hours later had to make a few unscheduled pit stops. If you don’t have issues in that area, you may well like this very low-carb product.

Great gluten-free product!
This is a great product that I have used in my baking for some time now. I use it as part of a home-made gluten free baking blend which doesn't increase one's glycemic level. It is a good flour by itself, however in concert with a couple of other items, it makes wonderful cakes, breads and muffins. I purchase this item on Subscribe & Save, so it reminds me each month to reorder it if I need it. Right now I have a small stockpile of it :). One thing you do need to know about this item is that it is a thirsty flour. I saw that another person recommended adding equal amounts of Coconut Flour and water to replace traditional wheat flour. In my case, I up the ante and use Fat free Greek Yogurt instead of water, upping the flavor and the protein in my baked goods. As a 'trim and healthy' advocate I believe that's important. Also, when using Coconut flour or a mix with it in it, you need to let it sit for a few minutes before baking as it soaks up the moisture. Then adjust it a bit by adding a bit of fat free yogurt (unless you are dairy-free) or other moisture adding item that won't affect your flavor. And for those that are Anti-Coconut (like my hubby), there is no discernible coconut odor or flavor in my baked goods unless I add coconut oil, coconut flakes or coconut flavoring. Believe me, I am pretty sensitive to odors. I love coconut, personally, but if I want coconut flavor or odor in something I'm making, it won't be from this flour. This is the most easily accessible Coconut flour I've found with a reasonable price, and it is also on Subscribe & Save. As a Prime member I actively look for items that ship Prime, and/or are on Subscribe & Save (and no, I don't get any extra bonus points with Amazon for saying that, it is simply the truth). I live way out in the country, and Prime and S&S keep me well supplied with the things I need.Viva Labs Coconut Flour is an important part of my healthier lifestyle as I do a lot of gluten free baking - and I love this product! In all the times I've ordered it over the past year I have never had a problem with it. Consistent and even quality every time.

Perfect for the KETO diet!
When I started the KETO diet, which recommends a very low percent of carbohydrates, my first dilemma was figuring out what I COULD eat. Online research steered me toward Coconut flour as a low-carb source of biscuits/bread/muffins/crusts and more. Until I discovered recipes for this flour, I felt deprived of my favorite foods. Now it's so much easier to stay on my diet! My family can eat high-carb meals, while I whip up something just as delicious with coconut flour: pancakes, waffles, cinnamon rolls, and cake!

Smells amazing
I add this to my dog cookie flour mix and the cookies smell so nice with a pleasant smell of coconut. Adding coconut flour also makes the mix less moist which is great because the pumpkin purée and smashed butternut squash add a lot of moisture to my mix. The cookies come out airy, crunchy, and smelling heavenly. I was worried about my dog getting fat from consuming coconut since coconut meat has a lot of calories and is high in saturated fat, came to find out coconut flour actually is low is those things.
