Just get it
You'll be so pleased. It took me all of 15 mins to get the undercoat off both my dogs. With the furminator it would take an hour or more!

Works really well on my dogs and cats.
Can see that it could be ruff on certain animals coats. My golden retriever Rottweiler boxer mixed dogs, absolutely love to get brushed now. I've only got one cat that it doesn't brush but her fur is very thin because of medical conditions. Other then her I have 2 cats that love it as well.

Works
I have a big dog who looses his undercoat constantly. This works well to help keep those little tumbleweed type hairballs off my floor lol

Bye Bye Winter Undercoat!
I found out about this brush from a golden retriever facebook group I'm in, and this brush was recommended. I love the wood handle, and it does the job. Now that it's spring, I had to brush out my 1 year old golden retriever puppy's winter undercoat. He was getting really hot at night also, so I brushed him today, and got alot of the winter under coat off of him. His coat looks super shiny and brand new. He absolutely loves it too.

No complaints here
I have a Siberian Husky and bought this just in time for shedding season. I thought my slicker brush was doing enough but apparently not. I brushed out two huge piles of fur using this tool. I have no complaints here. It's sturdy, doesn't feel cheap and gets the job done.Be careful with it! It took a bit for me to learn how to use it for my dog. He's pretty sensitive, was in a shelter and has never liked being brushed, most of all hates when I brush his stomach area for some reason. At first I used it like how I'd use a slicker brush expecting it to glide right through, but I went too fast and it caught on his fur for a bit and he HATED that. So small strokes really is the way to go, at least if it's the first time you're using the rake. Later as all the hair gets out it'll become easier to comb through.

Sturdy, good materials, but dulls quickly
I have a domestic longhair cat with a double coat. At first my cat LOVED this rake! It was such a relief for her when I removed excess fur in summertime. I've used it for a couple weeks and noticed the resistance increasing, even in well brushed and combed fur. My cat noticed too, and doesn't like it as much as she used to. Not sure if it's design allows it to be sharpened.

So easy, quick and thorough!
The media could not be loaded. LOVE this shedder, just like one I use for my horses manes, this has 2 sides to use. The side with fewer, larger "teeth" is perfect for dematting, the closer spaced side is for deshedding. Since the "teeth" are rounded, there is NO digging into their skin or possible punctures like you would with a rake comb. This pulls easily through even a dense coat (Mila is a semi plush short coat Czech German Shepherd) and similar to the "FURminator" that has been popular for years. In my opinion, this works far better, the handle is far better, being from wood and curved, more comfortable to hold (I have arthritis terribly in my right hand) than my FURminator, my dogs sat quietly and nudged for more, and importantly, super easy to clean! Get yourself one or 2 of these if you have multiple dogs: good pricing, easy to use and very thorough. You and your dogs will enjoy the experience!
