Great little heater. Have used it for 2 years and it puts off great heat. But do notice, it only has 3 settings on it, high and low and pilot. It does not have a thermostat, so the heat don't cycle, it is on all the time.

I bought this heater for when I lost power or when I have below zero weather. I have had the opportunity to use the heater four times already. It is easy to start and I feel very safe using the heater. My nephew installed it easily and was so impressed that he is discussing buying one as a back up for his home.

I had the earlier model for several years & loved it. It suffered abuse from a 'house-sitter' & I needed to replace it. Since I loved the earlier version I got this one. They changed some of the design. The old model you could easily light the pilot with a match after the electronic ignition fails & it will. This model will require taking the whole front off with 4 screws. Much of the year, spring, fall & sometimes even summer, the days are too hot to keep the pilot lit & the nights still drop into the 30's so morning or late night heat is desirable. Something else that bugs me about this model is that they used cheaper steel (or something) because it frequently does this loud bang when the metal expands on heating or contracts when cooling. The sound is loud enough to knock you out of your chair if you didn't know what it was...you might think someone was shooting at you. I haven't tried adjusting screws here or there to see if I could fix it but I don't know which panel is bowing. It has a "prettier" appearance than the older model but I chose FUNCTION over LOOKS every time so this is a sqeeky "4" rather than a "5".

These heaters worked great for about 2weeks until our gas went off but then they would not light. The igniters work but no gas comes through. We even tried propane but they still would not light. Contacted the company and they still have not replied.

Will need to have a licensed installer.

Heater would only work on pilot. when it was returned instead of receiving the 149.00 I paid I got 127. backthe heater looked new but did not work. not happy

We looked for a while to find a replacement heater for our bathroom after a recent remodel. We love this type heater! It’s an improvement to the old “infrared “ heaters where as this warms the air. It’s like a convection type heater that keeps from heating up the room too much.

It was a little hard to get it to light 1st time but I am sure it was gas flow. It looks good and not to big for a single den

The little plungers in the bottom are plastic, and after being hooked up for a while, they bend and collapse making the fireplace unusable. Can I get metal pieces or better plastic ones somewhere???

No funciona el encendido automático, se tiene que hacer manualmente. Y si es molesto porque no se tiene una ranura para encendido manual.
