Will these solar rose lights change color?

It changes to 7 different colors and slowly fades to another color every few seconds.These roses are very pretty and add some color to your yard at night!

When I removed the plastic protective pieces on the solar piece, some gluey type residue remained on 2, how to remove??

i usually use rubbing alcohol for the gluey stuff
