When my large hair clip broke, I thought I'd be able to find a replacement pretty easily. Not so much. There are options out there but they are the flimsy, cheap ones that feel like they might break before you get them out of the package. Then I found these. They are strong & sturdy and they hold my big ol' pile of thick curly hair like a champ. And I love the colors! I like to change my clip to match my clothes - or my mood - and with these, you have every option you need. Plus they are more of a matte finish so they go well whether you are dressed up or down. So happy to find these, would totally buy these again and again.

If you are a regular user of hair clips you know that once in a while a prong breaks off. These are typical, not weaker than a standard hair clip. They are much larger than I anticipated. But overall they do what they are supposed to.

I'm 5'9" tall and my hair comes to mid thigh. I have around 4'/1.3m of hair past my shoulders. For me, these clips are a little bit small. My hair escapes when I put it up and then it gets tangled in the mechanism. I end up tearing my hair up when I try to get it loose. It's very snaggy on my thick, fine hair. On the plus side, I have had to come up with some interesting ways of keeping my hair out of my face & off my neck. I think for most people these would be fine. I have an exceptionally large amount of hair so I will just have to keep looking.

They snap while they’re in your hair so if you have thick hair I’d recommend something else but overall cute clips

Does a great job holding my daughters very long, thick, curly hair. Has held up well without any pieces breaking and the colors are really pretty!

I didn't have these claw clips long enough to rate their sturdiness or durability over time, but they seemed fairly well made. The variety of colors you get is great and the matte finish looks quite nice. Unfortunately, these didn't work that well for me. I found it difficult to get my medium length, semi-fine hair to stay fully in place. Additionally, the weight of the clips made them uncomfortable to wear for very long. My neck started getting a sore in just an hour or two! I ended up returning them to look for something smaller/lighter.Plusses:- The color selection is great!- You get a lot of clips for the price.- Matte finish looks nice.- The clips seem sturdy enough to hold long, thick hair securely in place.Minuses:- The weight (these are heavy) can make them uncomfortable to wear.- May not be suitable for all hair types (my semi-fine hair would not remain secure).
