Great Build Quality, and Extraordinary Value for your money!
I am a Mobile DJ who has been deejaying many events a year since 1999. I have owned Wireless microphones from Audio Technica, SHURE, NADY, Voco Pro, GTD, and now Phenyx Pro. I saw this system on sale here on Amazon for $98.39 after a 20% discount, and the specs seemed like exactly what I want for my microphone needs. I have a 7 year old Shure BLX Combo system where the lavalier mix transmitter box has been malfunctioning so I wanted a combo handheld/lavalier wireless set up. I decided to give this Phenyx Pro 52B system a try, and I AM IMPRESSED! The build quality surpasses what I expected for a system in the $100 price range. The sound is good out of both the hand held, and the lavalier box. These microphones are not as sensitive as SHURE microphones are so they do need to be closer to the speaker's mouth, but the sensitivity is not bad at all. I am really impressed with the range! I did a distance test outside at a park in 32 degree windy weather today. I was able to walk over 400 feet away from my table/speaker/receiver box with the hand held, and it still had a clear wireless signal! With the lavalier box, I was able to walk about 250 feet from the receiver box before I started getting signal drop outs! I compared this system to my Shure BLX system that cost $599.99 when I purchased it. This Phenyx Pro system out performed the Shure BLX system in signal distance! I couldn't believe it! The Shure hand held pushed 300 feet, but the SHURE lavalier box get's cut outs, and signal drops starting at 50 feet, and by the time I got to 100 feet away, the SHURE lavalier mic had no signal whatsoever. Granted, my Shure BLX system is over 5 years old, and used a lot, but this new Phenyx System really surprises me! It even came with a carry case, wind screen, and am attachment to keep the handheld stable and not roll around on the table when you put it down on a table! I am truly impressed with this sytem, and for $98.39 it's a BARGAIN! Just buy this system, you will be very happy that you did!

Construction and durability
The Phenyx Pro PTU-52-1H1B wireless microphone system offers a compelling balance of portability and durability.Despite its lightweight construction, the system is robust and easy to transport. While the microphones are lighter than some premium models, they deliver clear, crisp vocal reproduction.Key features like auto-scan, precise volume, and channel controls elevate its functionality, rivaling more expensive systems. For those seeking professional-grade wireless audio without a hefty price tag, the PTU-52-1H1B is a strong contender for presentations, live events, and recording.

Decent mic for the price
Generally pleased with this mic set. Works well for our speakers who have the tendency to turn away from the pulpi mic. 1st set had a faulty body pack. 2nd works. 4 stars as they could have better squelch as there is the occasional interference. Our vocal mics (off while this is in use) are in the same band and do not have this issue. Changing the frequency is a breeze which is always a great benefit.Overall a good unit for the money for most general speaking applications.

Enough to get the bills paid
Works like it should!!Love that it has a great response on the handheld, has a enough lows to support the vocals, like the ease of changing the channels if neededI’m not much a lav/headset guy, but got a decent response from it.

Surprised in a good way
The quality of the sound and range are excellent for what you pay. It's as good as some more expensive units and easy to use. Just take extra care when handling it to extend its life. Lots of plastic which can get damaged if it gets banged around.

great price purchased two identical units
The reason for knocking out two stars is that the handheld mic works great, but the Lavalier bodypack kept dropping OFF and ON. Don't know if all Phenyx Pro Lavalier bodypack does this or just this unit, because halfway through church service, the Lavalier bodypack did not work correctly. Even changing the Lav Mic and the channels does not help the condition. I had to switch to the handheld Mic, it works great. I had to return the item to Amazon.

Phenyx will rise!!
The ptu 52 (handheld and body pack with headset or lavalier mic)!Is a great sounding unit!I have used it currently on two gigs and was very happy with results! Some headset mics can really be terrible, this NOT the case with this ptu52 unit! It's usable and sounds good! The features alone are not available on anything like this at the this price point!I currently own two ptu 2 units I use with my main touring band. Although not a robust in construction as the others but that is not what they designed for. This would be a shure pgx competitor at 1/2 the price it's a no brainer investment! The fact you get a handheld, body pack WITH headset and lavalier.... come on man! Do it and you will love it!I am using this for small band gigs, speaking engagements for weddings and events!Sound quality and price, you won't find ANYTHING close! You got customer for life!!
