Q: will these be good for new born hermit crabs?

I honestly don't know. They may be the perfect size. I'm concerned the shells may have been treated with something that would make them uninhabitable. They are listed as "craft charms for home...".

They are real seashells but very tiny. I think they would be ok since they're real.

My order had 1/2 (1007) of the 2000 described. My daughter actually sat there and counted them.
