It's a lovely planter which would need a protective plate underneath. The Angel is cute..I personally would add eye color to it.Would be fine as is, yet just my personal opinion.

I love how deep the planter is. I just started an African violet and it has plenty of room to grown inside and expand its roots in the Angel flower pot. It has a hole in the bottom of it for drainage so I places a planter saucer underneath it to catch the extra water. It’s perfect as the picture on Amazon!
