PASSED ON MY FIRST ATTEMPT
The Author of this book Fulya Kocak Gin does a fantastic job of explaining all the LEED AP BD+C Prereqs and Credits. She goes into a lot of detail which I think is a good way to memorize the topics and the credits. I passed my LEED AP BD+C on my first attempt after reading this book around 3 times. Do not be discouraged. These are lot of pages/reading but If you are determined and put in the Hard work I am 100% sure you will pass the Exam. I read the book 3 times because I have a very bad memory but maybe you can pass it after just doing 1 reading of this book. Also try to buy the Flash cards from the same author if you can afford them . They will also help you a lot. I use to read them while my way to the work on the train lol.

Worth every penny
This book was great and will keep as reference material. I initially purchased a different online study guide which I had completed. That material was good, but left many subjects on clarified. I bought this book and found it to be thorough and cleared up any questions I had after completing the first set of study guides. I would recommend this book to anyone taking the test.

Good study guide, just beware of the many errors on the test questions do not cloud your confidence.
Excellent reference text. Rent the textbook, don't buy it. Took one star off due to the numerous errors on the test questions below for future reference:Page 77, Apartment Bldg Short term bicycle storage=200X0.025 is 5 not 4 short term bicycle storage spaces.Page 99, question 5, answers should be ABC, not ABD.Page 126, question 19, answer should be A not DPage 131 and 395, question 3, FAR should be 250K/400K resulting in 0.625 FAR. The equation is reversed in the answer.Page 204, question 31: 2 points for Core and Shell project should be 3% ($3,600 not in any answer) not 5% ($6,000) of renewable energy.Page 257, question 20: answer A is incorrect, should be B (at least 2 years procured prior to registration)Page 317, question 17: answer should be D not C.Page 397 Calculation: should be 150 FTE, not 50 FTE under water closets for womenPage 399 question 1 should be 120,000 not 20,000.Page 405 question 2 calculation exercise, the totals should be 21,250 for baseline and 20,750 design case.Page 406 question 8 should be B, not C.Page 408, question 56, 1% of $126,750 is $1,267.50, not in the listed answers to choose from.Page 409, question 72, $75,000 times 150% equals $112,500, still less than the answer in D, which is $120,000. The answer should be D, not A.

Buy it if you are looking to pass first time
I just passed the LEED AP BD+C exam with score of 186 by studying from this preparation guide. It provide good explanation to each credit and the Good to know section is a great section of each credit that gives you a brief summary of what you need to memorize/know.

Not worth the price
Do not recommend this book.I was expecting a much better book after paying this much money. In order to pass with this book you must read the reference guide which makes this book not worth the price. Dont solely rely on this guide, the AP exam is full of details which this guide does not covers. There are lots of mistakes in the sample questions which is very confusing. As the info in the book does not match the answers of the sample questions, you end up going through the reference guide to figure out the corect solution. There are even simple calculation mistakes. If you are not planning to take the AP exam and rather just want to learn briefly about the LEED credits, then this book can be an alternative for you as its like a short summary of the reference guide.

Great product.
Used this product to pass the LEED AP BD&C first try. Purchase the study cards as well as it will definitely help reinforce the knowledge the book is making in regards to key points that a LEED professional should know in the field. Great product.

Great guide - make sure you get the most up to date version
I'm taking the exam this week. So far this exam guide has been a huge help for studying, I honestly don't know what I would do without it. The reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because working through the practice exam and chapter checkpoint questions I've found answers that are completely wrong. It was easy to figure out so it may not screw anyone up but it makes me think this guide wasn't reviewed very well. If it's updated maybe they'll correct the issues. With that said, it would be a good idea to buy the newest version of this study guide. In addition to that, LEED incorporates addendum's to the credits every year and I believe they make a point to have a question on the test that incorporates the addendum but I can't verify that.Anyway, I am open to the possibility that I'm wrong and the exam guide is correct SO one of the questions I found and the only one I can reference at the time I'm writing this review is Question 56 from the practice exam. The answer incorrectly calculated 1% of the total energy cost and said $12,000 was the correct answer when $12,000 is actually 10% which would give the project 3 points not just 1.
