I would wait for a sale because these are overpriced in my opinion but they are cute interactive toys. The original reveal is fun and it’s exciting to see which pup you got. After that they respond to certain things, run around, and bark. After a few weeks our princess pup became more of a bedroom decoration for our daughter but she says she still likes it.

Second time buying these and both girls have loved them! It is the perfect gift for everyone especially little ones! Everyone was fascinated when the birthday girl pulled the tab and the dog came out of the box on its own! Bonus that it was pink her favorite color!

I got this for my 4 year old daughter because she saw it on TV and I'm a sucker for a good deal. The directions for opening were very clear and the thing tore itself out of the box much like the chest bursting scene from "Alien" while barking incessantly. It took me a few minutes to remove it from the platform it came on as there was a wire shoved up its rear end to hold it in place that wouldn't let the creature go. My daughter fell in love with "Princess" immediately. I had immediate buyer's regret. There is no volume control. Just on and off. It is loud so if noises bother you don't buy one. If you're looking for a good gift to give someone else's child as revenge this is a great idea. The game mode where the child repeats the dog's barking and whining back to it will be sure to test the most patient person. I almost threw it out the window until I instituted a ban on the devil dog being on while in the car.

This toy is so cool!! My daughter’s eyes were so wide in excitement (3years old) and my niece even cried in amazement! (8years old). The toy did not have any issue what so ever and it did exactly what it said it would.

Oh my Goodness, this toy is one of the cutest I've ever bought for a child and I have 5 kids and four Grandkids.This toy comes in a mystery box. You either get a pink or purple puppy. The puppy starts talking and barking, even before it opens up and it's very suspenseful watching the box rock, she's barking and all of a sudden her paws punch through the box and she pops out! My Granddaughter got the pink one, her favorite color. Then the adults had to figure out how to release her from the box, that was a trick, while she's wiggling and barking the whole time. Myfour year old Granddaughter was So Excited when she finally got to hold her! I took a video and would have posted that, but didn't save for some reason.I only have one suggestion for the manufacturer. As you can see my three year old GD was also watching the whole thing intently, she would really would have liked one too. If the seller would allow the the purchaser the choice of the pink or purple puppy, they would sell twice as many of them! I would have gladly purchased two, but was worried they would fight over it if they got the same color. I will be recommending this toy to all my friends who have Grandchildren!
