I'm 70 and in reasonably good shape, but I was thinking of buying mostly loafers and slip-on shoes because it can be a struggle to get some other types of shoes on. This shoehorn is life-changing! Seriously, it makes it really easy to get into my dress shoes and jogging sneakers. It's well made and very sturdy. I keep it on my coat rack near the door for quick use. The ability to collapse it and unscrew the horn also makes it easy to travel with, which is another plus. I don't say this often about things I buy on Amazon, and I rarely write reviews, but this shoehorn is worth the money.

Well made, strong, doesn't bend. With the extension you can easily get behind your heel and slip your shoes on.Some shoe horns will get jammed into your shoe when you get your foot seated. This slides right out. I thought it would be just a cheap plastic shoe horn. But for the money this is built to last. Except if your nieces and nephew try to use it as a sword. I would recommend it and buy it again.

This extendable shoe horn is great to have. It extends enough that I do not have to bend down to see what I’m doing or to put it in the heel of my shoe. It collapses enough to put in my overnight case and has its own drawstring pouch to store it in. The horn itself is stiff so that it doesn’t bend and my heel slides quickly into my shoes. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the extendable handle does not always lock into place when extended and will sometimes collapse while using but, that could be because my arthritic hands are not strong enough to lock the extended handle in place. Overall, I really like this shoehorn as it’s a big help.

Compact and handy. The teflon like surface allows for easy slip into place of foot with a sock on it. I have tried several of these telescoping type and others.
