Water Leakage Detection, Underground Water Pipe Leakage Monitor High-Intensity Water Pipe Leak Detector Accessory Kit with Earphone for Indoor Outdoor 110-240V

I wanted to use a hydrophone for leak detection in my pool. To purchase a hydrophone was just too expensive. I put the transducer into a party balloon. This took a little effort to get the transducer through the neck the balloon. Then sealed the ballon opening with Flex Glue and shrink tubing with heat gun. I tested in the pool, where I knew there was a leak under water, and the hydrophone detected the leak.

This absolutely did not work, all that could be heard is static. We even put it on our fountain right next to running water and it still could not pick up the sound of the water. Also, the probe is extremely short, much shorter than it looked in the picture so you literally have to crawl around on your hands and knees as you move it to try and to hear anything.I noticed the reviews were 50-50 so I decided to give it a shot, but it absolutely was not worth it.

Used been a plumber for almost ten years. So with that being said not like the expensive leak detection microphones but will work when my more expensive kit is being used by one of my plumbers definitely exceeded my expectations for the price definitely. Would buy to keep on other trucks and a quick set up but would use other kit to confirm

It's workable for the job

I like this product because it solve my water leakage problem. High accuracy in determining the leakages.

Arrived in good condition. I believe they will serve the purpose intended for their use.

Does not work at all battery light on simple directions but does not work at all
