Good price for performance - read on
This product works as advertised, but I would not use indoors - the light is too bright and has the potential to blind you unless you're used to the light, but that wouldn't be tactical in the home. If you're planning on using outside or in a constant on mode, then YES this is the light for you.PROsvery brightmany options for outputaccessories to mount on your weapon for about 3-4 times less than the proven name brandsCONstoo bright for situations where you need instant control of on/offtoo many options if you want to use lower lumin options (but for the non tactical person who cares)mount is not custom made for the flashlight, so you may want to use some sort of padding to not damage your lightI haven't tested this on a firearm, but it occupies my night stand and it has proven useful at night. I did buy TLR-3 that is about 100 lumins (sp?) and the TLR-3 doesn't give me momentary blindness. So moral of the story is max lumins isn't everything and test everything before you use it.This review is not a long term review and I have not reviewed reliability, because I don't have enough time with the product to do so, but for the right situation I would recommend this product for testing and real life use, if it did pass the "Tactical" test, based on it's performance.

SUPER BRIGHT @ 1000 lumens!
Very bright light, nice mount, solid build, competitively priced compared to other options. This is an excellent option for home defense. I would buy another one if needed. The only down side is that batteries are not included.

You get what your pay for
I think you are getting what you pay for. The flashlight is overly complicated, and I am fairly sure the regular switch isn't working properly, when I press it the light turns on for half a second but I can't get it to stay on. With the remote switch I can get it to stay on but not the regular switch. If I had to do it over again I would have just spent a little extra money and gotten a name brand light, I have a feeling that once this is mounted it won't hold up. I will update after I have used it on my AR.
