The best $125 I've ever spent in my life!
I minored in organic chemistry in college. So I know how to interpret data a bit better than others. I understand zinc/copper ratios. I understand all the metals and what they do. And I had been supplementing minerals for a long time. My problem was I thought I could "infer" deficiencies simply based on how I felt taking certain isolated minerals. Which I knew was stupid as someone who knows chemistry. But being broke can justify such stupid thoughts... no matter how smart you think you are.Like I knew I always responded better to isolated copper, than zinc. Copper always made me feel better. Zinc often did the opposite. But I was always afraid of taking too much copper, and for some reason not afraid of taking too much zinc.I also had mercury almagams taken out recently & was curious of my mercury readings.I also took too much boron. This test was unbelievably accurate and also revealed problems I didn't realize how bad they were.My mercury WAS toxic. I also have toxic antimony levels. Likely from back in college when I use to smoke. My boron was way too high. I am stopping boron supplementation permanently. My copper was unbelievably deficient. My zinc was right in the middle (sufficient enough to ignore for a while). I am stopping zinc for at least 2-3 months, and focusing on copper... until these levels are fixed. My iron, chromium, selenium, vanadium, sulfur & phosphorus were also low.I will bringing up the levels of all of them. The chelated mineral I was taking was not doing much. Or I was simply too copper / iron deficient to transport any of these minerals into tissue which is my suspicion. And mercury / antimony is likely blocking this stuff too.For mercury & antimony, I will begin chelating about 2-3 months from now. With EDTA/DMSA/ALA. But not until I first build up all my essential minerals. I have to test again to see how I respond.I found the tolerable upper limit for copper is 10mg. That's what I started taking. Within 3 days of taking that copper and stopping my zinc... OMG I feel unbelievable already. In only 3 days. It could take months to really get my levels back up. But my brain is so much sharper. Energy is up. I laid out in the sun & unlike 2 weeks ago when I spent 3 hrs outside and didn't get tan at all... today I was outside for 1 hr and got a nice dark tan. It's all adding up slowly how copper deficient I was. Eyesight is also better. Body aches are beginning to go away. 3 days I'm already noticing this stuff.I also did another test (at the same time) for my mom. She had extremely high barium, a bit of mercury from her almagams (also just removed them all), and high titanium. She is older than me & her mineral deficiencies were much worse. She just went out & bought everything to start addressing her more severe deficiencies. Now I just emailed this test to both my brothers. Both will be ordering it soon. I like this test so much in fact I may start promoting it as an affiliate on my YT channel. This test is so important I would recommend it before anything else actually. Before getting hormones checked or anything. There's no point testing your testosterone levels if you have no idea where all your minerals / toxic metals are at. Your organs can't secrete/synthesize this stuff without those essential minerals. There's no point even considering testosterone until you first fix that stuff. And if you do fix that stuff you won't need the test at all.I love this test. One last thing. One test is not your answer to everything. I plan on taking this test 3-4 more times over the next yr or 2. Repeat testing, seeing how you respond to supplementation, how fast / slow your levels come up... that is much more reliable over the long run than doing 1 isolated test 1 time and thinking you know everything. This is how science works. With that said, 1 test is still 100xs better than never doing the test & supplementing based on instinct. If you've never done this test, you have no idea what your copper/zinc ratio is. No supplement in the world will fix that. You may need a lot more copper. Or a lot more zinc. Or a lot more of both. Or none of both and have something completely different going on. You simply won't know without this test.THANK YOU DOCTORS DATA!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! It took me a while to work up the courage to spend $125 on a test... but I put an envelop in my office that I'm putting cash in to save up for more & more of these tests.

Wasted Money, Results Never Received
Similar to other customers who have left reviews, I never received my results from this company after several months of waiting. Amazon should look into this company and remove them as a seller if they're not going to deliver on their promises and offer refunds to all buyers who never received results even if outside the standard refund period. I'm not sure why they pick and choose which orders to fulfill but for this high price I wouldn't recommend taking the chance that you will be one of the customers who wastes your money and never receives your results or any response from the seller.

Accurate, Comprehensive
I've had a hair analysis done 3 times over the years by another lab that's used by many alternative doctors, for about the same price as this, and the Doctor's Data test is MUCH more comprehensive! Just be sure to get the 39-elements panel which shows the 'good' minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron, etc. in addition to the toxic heavy metals. My husband and I both got ours done and the results explain a lot about what we've been experiencing. Had I done this sooner, I could've zeroed in on the key issue and save a lot of money on supplments that weren't what I needed. So it's well worth the cost!Ignore the review saying it isn't accurate. Hair analysis shows the accumulation in the tissues over time, so it's much more useful in determining toxicity.in the tissues. Also ignore the reviews saying they never got results. Of course they send the results! But you need to follow the directions and EMAIL THE LAB with your info, the same day that you mail the specimens. Then they will have your email address and will email you the results. Read the little insert that comes with the kit and simply follow the directions.I also had a question and got a prompt reply, so their customer service is excellent.Everyone should do this before trying to solve their problems with meds. It can explain so much.

Comprehensive, informative, needs follow up testing to confirm any abnormal results
Took several weeks to get results. YMMV.

Poorly designed collection method. Feels like a scam from email comms. Failed to deliver results.
I did not receive any testing due to a flaw in their design. The package comes with a cardboard "scale" that is meant to tip when you have cut off enough hair. Mine wasn't tipping at all even when I piled all of my leftover past shoulder-length long hair on it, not just the 1 inch root sections they ask for, so I could tell the scale wasn't working. I had already cut off tons of hair, so I sent in what I had collected. It should have been plenty compared to other hair strand tests that only request a few strands. Received an email showing several different random companies involved in this communication chain with the doctor/lab, all of which had strange names not remotely related to medical testing. They said I hadn't submitted enough hair for testing. As I had already cut off noticable patches of hair once, I couldn't do it again. As someone with long hair, this will look weird now growing out. Don't recommend this one.
