CERASHARP 4" Ceramic Paring Knife & Peeler Set - Superior Blade Strength & Cutting Performance, Garden, Lawn, Maintenance

I had bought this for my husband for Christmas to be added to a cheese set. He had taken my set downstairs to a new kitchen we added to our home. I had previously purchased a ceramic knife and learned it stayed very sharp over time as advertised. But it doesn't have a sheath and it's too long to put in my lunch box to cut up apples. So, i used this knife.i love the sheath! Small enough for my lunch box and very sharp. Sorry husband, you keep the old stuff! As far as the other tool I haven't used it yet so I really can't review. I really bought this set with my eye on the knife. Great knife!

Good knife. A bit small and not as sharp but does the job. The peeler works best.

-Shipment was received faster than estimated so that is a big plus-The knife is extremely sharp!-The knife has solid build and seems to be made well with good handle-The peeler would benefit from being made from same sturdy plastic the knife handle is made out of-The peeler is extremely sharp and works well, nothing too amazing but it definitely gets the job done-again the peeler's handle is a bit more flimsy than the knife but i wouldn't say that it is poorly made, more of a poor choice of plastic- overall the knife is worth the price of both! the peeler is a good peeler and is serviceable, much sharper than a standard peeler and in design will keep you from cutting yourself.

I have a $2 Ikea paring knife that is sharper than this ceramic knife. I tried cutting an avocado, and this ceramic knife could not penetrate the thick skin without some heavy pressure. My Ikea knife, that I've sharpened with an excellent sharpener purchased from Amazon, cuts through the avocado with ease.This ceramic knife is going back.

I have owned ceramic knives before, so I had something to compare this to. It is NOT sharp.It squishes bread instead of cutting it. it slips on onions because it isn't sharp enough to cut them as easily as it should, and forget about cutting tomatoes - what a mess!I don't know if I got a defective one or not, but this knife is next to useless. I don't usually give bad reviews for unless the product really did not live up to minimal expectations - and this didn't.Very disappointed.

Somehow I lost my ceramic paring knife and I have been lost without it. I had looked in the local stores and they were just too pricey. This set is a great buy you sure do get your moneys worth. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

I have used many ceramic knives and this is a good one but I ordered this one because of the peeler and was not disappointed.I have artheritus and this peeler is a very good peeler for me. I have recommended it to other friends and family however I havepurchased it for my father and he does not have praise of many things but he was a cook in the army for General and he has thanked me several times for the gift of the set. He enjoys the set and uses it often.

These knives and peelers NEVER dull and cut thru anything. I want to find a full set. I got the big butcher type knife and have had it for years and don't regret buying it the little one I bought is the same thing My large one slices thru a watermelon like paper If your looking for quality knives I recommend these knives and vegie peelers
