Didn't read reviews has its my grandsons favourite book so just thought it would be ideal Christmas present although very expensive.Never been so gutted with a productChristmas day the broom broke then the wand came off the witch. The characters don't stay on the broom the witch does not fit in the stand. We bought the snail and the whale the snail didn't stay in the whale .gruffelo characters are cheap and nasty fox has broke wing come of owl. My grandson is a very gentle child I wouldn't give it to a child who is a bit more heavy handed. Has it is they all in the boxes to return

Looks lovely.
I bought this for my granddaughter with the book. Each character is lovely and clearly identifiable as characters from the book.My only criticism is that the characters are really difficult to sit on the broom.

Halloween display
Bought this for the play room as a Halloween decoration,some of the pieces are not suitable for young children.

Not really suitable for toddlers
This item is very flimsy and certainly not suitable for a 3 year old. It's difficult to get the figures on the broom for an adult and isn't robust enough for a toddler to actually play with.

Grandchildren were over the moon with this gift
My grandchildren loved this little set so much. Worth every penny.

Not great
It's lovely, but the animals don't stay on the broom very well, and the bird not at all. The painting on the bird's feet isn't complete on ours either. Shame.Tried to contact seller but amazon just sending me round in circles.
