Great fake skin
Fake tattoo skin, or synthetic practice skin, is essential for tattoo artists to hone their skills safely. High-quality options like TrueSkin and ReelSkin mimic human skin closely, offering realistic texture and durability. When selecting practice skin, consider factors like material, thickness, and texture to ensure effective practice sessions.

For anyone who is sceptical about these cheaper skins!
First of all you have to remember that with these very cheap mats you do in a way get what you pay for HOWEVER, I read lots of reviews saying that mats of this price/quality are impossible to clean and would end up being completely stained of ink and of course this made me quite cautious but like anyone who is just beginning to dabble in tattooing you don’t want to spend much money either because you don’t have it or because you don’t know if you’re going to be any good at it so don’t want to throw money at what might become a waste but I was actually very very pleasantly surprised! when you wipe these mats with a tissue you will smudge ink however if you get the tissue very wet and then rub the mats providing the ink is still wet, All the water on the tissue will nearly instantly dilute all the ink on the surface to the point where it becomes such a thin liquid that it can be easily rubbed off. But remember that because you are making the mat so wet that you may rub away the remainder of the stencil so it important to try and complete all the line work first. The only other downside is that because these mats are quite thin the needle is very likely to go through the mat and not only become slightly blunt from hitting the table it may also dent your table however if you put one more mat underneath the one you’re tattooing on this will fix that. overall for the money this product is very valuable and I will definitely be buying again!

Budget Fake Skins
These skins are very thin and can snag your needle but they’re decently priced and give you a feel for tattoo practice though and they don’t cost too much.

Fake skin
Not as good as slightly more expensive ones, they don’t clean well.

Does the job castor oil helps
These work fine good thickness compared to others Iv bought, I always keep an old one underneath when tattooing on them or use a big silicone mat, they stretch well, if anyone has issues transferring images I suggest you use castor oil it leaves a good sticky residue, only need a tiny bit and smear with your finger an leave for a bit, put ur image on only press down firmly don’t rub, peel and allow to dry for a bit, I find better results using this

Grate
These are ok. They are slightly thin but good to use for practice and you don’t wanna spend a lot of money they are also a grate size

Cheap but thin
Skins are a good price but the quality lacks very thin skin so you won’t get a true understanding of needle depth and if you go to deep you may damage the skin but on these it doesn’t really show (imo I wouldn’t buy these again)
