Photography - a humorous read?
I've bought numerous books in my attempts to learn photography. Most were on specific subjects such as exposure, macro, composition, flash photography, some more general but nonetheless educational books, a useful field guide and general digital photography books covering theory. This book purports to be the best bits from five others in a series of books by Scott Kelby. It's contents repeat quite a bit of what I've learned using other books but has many additional interesting tips and tricks and is also humorous. It was one of the more enjoyable books on photography that I have read. At the end of this book is his top 10 tips he wish he'd known when starting photography. If Scott reads this, I've ignored tip one (spent a fortune on gear) but am taking your advice on tip 12 (yes 12), so you've shot yourself in the foot.

Simple clear instructions
Scott Kelby excels in this book. A one page recipe to improve your photography. Knowledge of exposure triangle helps his simple instructions to make images you want with no technical instructions. Certainly helped me, recommend this book.

Good book for beginners!
Saw another of Scott Kelby's books in a certain retail store, but spotted this "Best of" on Amazon. Is very good for a beginner, like me. He doesn't blind you with techno speak. Looking forward to trying some of his tips.
