Did not know about or want a cord, can i just pull it apart?

They have them with or without cords. My order was wrong the first time and they just sent me the right ones. Don't know if they will pull apart but the plugs are identical on the corded and cordless.

What’s the difference between corded and uncorded?

The corded ear plugs are attached to each other so you can hang them around your neck when you take them out. The un corded has to be put in your pocket or laid down somewhere.

Are these metal detectable?

They are entirely foam, doubt it.
