Vitamin D 3 needs this vitamin!
Received these vitamins today. I started vitamin D3 and did my research & learned that you need vitamin K to steer the calcium to the bones and teeth. Without vitamin k the calcium goes to soft tissue and arteries! Why don’t office doctors tell you that? I had to listen to drs on YouTube to know that! No wonder why so many elderly are in the hospital with hypercalcemia! These vitamins are great! And a perfect dose! For every 10,000 of calcium, you need 100 of vitamin k. I’m on 5000 so this dose of 45 is perfect! Thank you! I looked in the drugstore’s and couldn’t find vitamin k at all.

Important Vitamin K2!!
I read on Google that it is crucial to take Vitamin K2 when taking Calcium and Vitamin D because it helps to assimilate in your body. This is a nice low dose and a small gel pill!

Be Careful if on Coumadin/Warfarin Blood Thinners
I read that on Life Extension that by taking this low dose K you could level out your INR readings. It also says to check with your Dr which I did not do since he has no knowledge of nutritional medicine (allopathic Docs seem to share this lack of knowledge). I self test my INR at home and after 2 weeks of using this product my INR dropped to 2.0 (my range is 2.5-3.5). I quit taking it and a week later my INR was 3.5. What confuses me is that K2 is made with natto and is in cheeses and meat. The DR. says to watch out for leafy green veggies (eat in moderation) which is high in K1 with no mention not eating cheeses (Brie), red meat and natto. I plan to take this product occasionally (not everyday) especially when I am on vacation when I know I am getting less dietary K. I have addressed calcium removal in circulatory system by taking 400 mgs of magnesium glycinate (read to Levy's magnesium book-bought on Amazon). Magnesium does not effect blood thinners/inr readings. UPDATE: 12/2022 I now take this only 3 days a week (MWF) and have no problems with the INR being too low.
