Lucy the Bee and the Healing Honey: 1

Very lovely book and well written. My daughter loves it and bees now also. Much to my dismay because she’s probably going to kill me trying to bring bees in the house(I’m allergic to bees).

I gave this book to my 6-year-old son for Christmas, and he loved it! He finished the book in just 2 days! As a parent, I love how it ties in lessons of the environment AND helping others.When I asked him what the book was about, he told me it was about “a bee who’s friends got sick. Lucy the bee went from hive to hive to find pollen from other hives to help her friends.” His favorite part was when “Lucy got all of the pollen to save her friends”.My son would read this book again, and when I asked him if he thought his friends would like it, he said “Yes, because it’s a good book!” I think this book would make a great gift for little boys or girls ages 6-10ish.

I got this for my niece (6) and nephew (4) because they like a story at bed time. I read them the first 2 chapters (we couldn't stop at the first 1) and they love it! The story has a great message about unity and healing. It's perfect for the world we live in!
