Great product

These are okay but not great. They crimp well but can look sloppy. These are for thinner laces and wider ones won’t be fully covered. I am using these for cords I make from yarn and they are barely big enough to cover. I think the metal is thin and should be a bit wider. But they are not a total waste of money and so far the ones I’ve used have stayed closed. The finish is not as nice as I’d like though.

I had to replace the shoelaces for my daughter's Jordan's. I've tried to research the length of the laces that I need to get, because my daughter threw the old ones away before I measured them... anyways, long story short I ordered the wrong size. The ones that I ordered were much longer that she needed. For some time she was using them and it was uncomfortable for her to tie them since they were very long. After doing some research, I find this product and thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did. This works not only for the shoelaces, but I was able to use it for pants/sweater/jacket etc. pretty much anything that has laces and if the ends fit messed up somehow or you needed to shorten it, you can use this product.I would definitely recommend it!

I loved these online and was super excited to receive them. The kit looks great, and there's a ton of supplies, so all of that is wonderful. I haven't been able to successfully attach one of the end pieces yet, though. They don't seem to conform to a round shape when clamped together. The piece has to be constantly adjusted during attachment, and in the end the piece just dented and looks terrible. This could be my fault, but I'm pretty handy and have many attempts logged so far... I also haven't contacted the company yet, so I won't comment on service. Just beware that at best these are challenging and at worst they are no good.

Makes excellent aglets. I’ve used them now on sports laces, 1/8” paracord, and 5/32” paracord. The 1/8” paracord was probably the best. Using the pliers is a little tricky and takes smooth, gentle force to keep the aglet round while tightening it on the lace. Near the open end, one side has a little spur on it, and I bend that inward first to firmly prevent slippage. Then I use the flat pliers to gently move that same side inward and down firmly against the lace. Then I move the other side inward and overlapping the first edge, until it’s tight on the lace. It’s definitely a skill, I messed up the first one and kept working it till I got it pretty good. After a few aglets, though, you get pretty smooth with it. The brightly colored metal looks really nice. The darker metals are nicely subdued.

Well I don't use it as often as I thought I would but still handy. Perfect for using paracord for laces.

I purchased these needing about a dozen. There are so many left. I've put them in with my craft supplies because I'm sure they are good for other items as well.
