It is not smooth, does not colour how should be

Used to spend twice as much on Liz waiter but not anymore!

I previously gave this product 5 stars because it was the first and only crayon eyeliner I've used and it was so much better than my liquid eyeliner that I didn't bother looking for other alternatives. I coincidentally bought a different eyeliner from a different brand a couple of weeks ago and now I'm back writing a more realistic review.This eyeliner is not great. The formula glides on smoothly and stays on, but it's very greasy and transfers easily. By the end of the day, it's usually smudged, transferred onto my lower eyelid, or completely gone. I used to think that this was the norm, but with my new eyeliner, it stays put like it's supposed to, and at the end of the day it's still there, with no smudges in sight. The self sharpening feature of this product is handy, but it does waste a lot of product and if you break the tip, there's no way of twisting it out, and you have to discard the entire thing.I used to have to buy this every month or so, because it doesn't last long (between constantly having to reapply it or throwing half away due to a broken tip). I'm giving it two stars instead of one because of how much I used to like this and how long I used it, but honestly, it's not the best.

Arrived on time, item as described, sealed well. Application was easy, it was soft and creamy, but hard enough that it doesn't break apart. Usually I use this to tightline my upper lash line. It does smudge though, and with my hooded eyelids it gets really bad and transfers just right under my eye, especially if it's hot and I sweat a little. I try to combat that by putting extra powder under my eyes on top of a setting spray -- which sometimes works.

I have used this eyeliner for years and love that it has a built in sharpener. I’ve recently noticed though that the soft pencil itself seems to break off more easily than past orders I’ve purchased. Not sure if this is just a defect in some of the product or if the quality in the pencil has lessened overtime. Good pencil overall but may need to look at their quality as of late.
