Deep gray and super lustrous, these crystals are grown for use in the semiconductor industry and are consistently among the most attractive and impressive specimens we offer. Their texture is like that of obsidian but the color more like that of mercury - an irresistibly beautiful combination. Here we've put a small piece of 99.999%+ lab-grown crystalline silicon in a small acrylic cube along with some thick gel to protect the lustrous finish of the metal. These cubes look great on their own or as part of a set in our custom made medium sized Periodic Table of the Elements acrylic cases (see our website for details).
