Pigs (First Step Nonfiction ― Farm Animals)

The teacher for our daughter's Montessori preschool (18 months to three years) mentioned that the kids had been reading the various color books in this series while learning to use the bathroom independently. The text is short, great for a toddler's quickly growing vocabulary. We ordered a few for home, and our daughter (just over two years old) practically memorized them. In fact, she loves them so much that I've gotten a bunch more and she gets excited about each one. "Pigs" is one of her favorites - she loves to see the mommy pig, the daddy pig and the baby piglets (even though she can't pronounce "piglets" completely yet). Highly recommend.

Although my 2 year old grandson likes the cute pictures in this book, it is very poorly made and fell apart after about a week.
