No more stubbing my toes for those late night, early morning bathroom trips
Ah, the agony of the midnight bathroom run. Stumbling through the darkness, trying not to trip over the cat or knock over a vase – it's an experience that has haunted many a sleepy soul. But fear not, my fellow night owls! There's a solution to this age-old problem, and it comes in the form of a light plate switch with LED lights. This ingenious contraption has taken my home's lighting game to a whole new level. Gone are the days when I would wince at the piercing brightness of the overhead light, momentarily blinded as I prepared myself for the perilous journey to the bathroom. Now, I simply follow the gentle, guiding light that illuminates my path. The LED lights are a true game-changer. They cast a warm and inviting glow that's just enough to guide my way without being obnoxiously bright. And let's not forget the energy savings! These little LED lights consume a fraction of traditional bulbs' power, making them an environmentally friendly choice for late-night light seekers everywhere. But what truly sets this switch apart is its effortless installation process. In a matter of minutes, I had this little device up and running, ready to light up my life—quite literally. And the best part? I won't have to scream like a banshee in the haunting hours between midnight and sunrise when my toe collides with the dresser. I can see it now!

Simple install, some contrarian confusion in packaging
The media could not be loaded. I have installed 18 Snap Power outlet and switch lights in my home. I have a 1992 build home and there is no aluminum or knob and tube wiring.Install is typically simple. If you have an older home, installation may be more complicated. The covers for light switches are only about 1/3 as bright as the wall outlet light covers even when the switch light is on max brightness. In my video, you can see low and high light levels. It looks a lot brighter in the video even on high than it does in real life. I pointed my light upward to illuminate the garage door opener. This particular duplex cover will work for a circuit with one or two switches. There is an installation tool included that no one needs that is not mentioned anywhere on the website that I was directed to by the QR codes that tell you they will show you how to use the installation tool. Those same QR instructions are a bit misleading because they say single switch covers will not work with a circuit with 2 switches. But it says nothing at his 2 switch duplex cover that will work with 2 switches in the circuit.Despite the instructional chaos, these light and outlet covers work well with minimal DIY knowledge in newer homes. In old homes, it could be an adventure. Hope this review helps!

Simple installation. Very dim, but OK for my purpose
After reading reviews, I was concerned about the installation process and the brightness of the light. Now that I've installed and use the product, I see both are valid concerns for some, but not for me.The built-in terminals that pick up power lined up well enough to work on my standard 2-gang wall switch. I didn't tweak anything and even forgot to use the supplied "installation tool" that helps hold the terminals back while I snapped on the plate.Yes, the light is very dim. You aren't going to be able to read a book from this light. But all I need is enough light for those middle-of-night visits to the toilet room (no outlet in that room, can't even use a night-light!). So it's fine, indeed perhaps preferable for my purpose. All in all, very pleased with the purchase.

Switch plate orientation
The switch cover plate works well, but there are a couple considerations. On the two-switch cover plate the electrical contacts are on the left side. For my installation, the switch on the left side is a three-way switch for my outdoor garage lights. When installing the switch cover plate with the contacts over the three-way switch, the LED light will only dimly illuminate, unless the switch is off. So, with the outdoor lights on and the garage door closed, the switch cover plate is only dim.The switch on the right is a single switch for my indoor garage lights. In order to install the electrical contacts over this switch, the switch cover plate needs to be installed upside down, so the LED light is on top. In this configuration the off/dim/bright capabilities of the switch plate work correctly.

You can't really know if this is going to be easy to install, until you go to install it.
Now, I got 3 of these. I know they are costly but they are just perfect for where I most needed them. Which is, when entering a dark room, because I'm always fumbling around for the light switch. Now, I don't even have to look for it because I can just see it out of the corner of my eye as soon as I enter the room! But anyway, installing them was a breeze (for the most part). The 2nd one and 3rd one that I installed both went on with no problem and worked right away. The 1st one however, did not... BUT, it wasn't because of the light switch cover at all. It was because of shoddy workmanship from... well I guess from when the house was built. It's kind of hard to explain exactly how that made my install difficult though. But basically, I couldn't screw all of the screws in all of the way because at a certain point the light switch cover would stop working. I eventually managed to get it to work properly but that would be hard to explain too, lol. The point is, that it wasn't because of the night light light switch cover.Anyway, all three of the ones that I got have been performing flawlessly since I got them installed. And so, I am plenty happy with them and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering getting them. Or, to anyone who is considering getting just ONE of them.
