Nice DMR mobile
Pros: it's an extremely small radio and will fit almost anywhere, DMR works well on repeaters while mobile. Mic has magnetic back so traditional mic hook is not needed. Cons: programming is a little difficult to learn at first but once you get the hang of it, it's not to bad. You have to crank the audio up pretty loud to hear while mobile, but does not distort to bad. Over all: I would recommend this radio and definitely would but again. Radioddity had a great US based support and stand by their products. You also have amazon return if it's not for you so there is no risk. Just do it, lol

Little Quirks - Great Little Radio!
So, I am fairly new to ham radio and even greener when it comes to DMR. My other dmr radio is an anytone which was only easy to program because our local radio club had a good code plug for it. So I really don't think this one is any harder to program from scratch, but you are less likely to find code plugs for it right now.Two problems I encountered programming:1) I had a hard time uploading contacts from the radioid contact dump. It was a little unintuitive how to format the columns in excel to do the import. I used the wizard on amateurradio.digital and set it to an older radioddity model and it worked! (first 2 columns in the list appeared to be backwards (radioid and call sign - but don't fix it - it works as is).2) You must add the talkgroup you wish to hear to an RX Group - then add that to your channel (even if that is the channel for the talk group that you are on). You will see that there are tx's going on, but not hear anything (and others will be able to hear you). That took some hair pulling to figure out. So watch out for that. There are some small irritations with the software - I upgraded to the latest cps/firmware without issue and didn't have any major issues with the cps. Would be nice to be able to move around in the channel table with arrows or tabs, or if it were like anytone where you could double click a channel and have a pop-up with all the fields in one spot. I'm sure the cps will get better as time goes on. I did not have luck using any 3rd party cps programs, but I'm sure that will come with time also.I love that this radio fits right in the tray of my RAM truck's dash board next to the cigarette lighter outlet. I have had no issues running this radio at full power off the included lighter adapter. I am using this little stubby antenna: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TT3HBLP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with the radio and have no issues hitting nearby repeaters. I do need to get a longer range antenna for when I'm out in the hills. One note though: One big reason I bought this radio was for the aprs functions...I have not yet tested this, but I have seen others successfully set it up in videos - so that should not be an issue. In conclusion - there are better dmr radios, but not at this price and not in this cute little footprint. I think for this price, and form factor this is a great little radio.

Returned to Amazon same day.
I am trying to think of something positive to say about this radio but I can't.This is an HT without a battery that puts out 20 watts so they say. IT is the size of a large HT and the programming software is cumbersome. I could not get any audio out of this radio.UPDATE: I found out that the CPS was updated and there is a 3rd party CPS. This radio while not perfidy is great for the price. Audio is great. Programming is good and i had it up and running in to DMR repeaters soon after unboxing

Radioddity DB-25D
Nice, little, compact radio. Good audio, Cpeditor is a good program, Irene in support is AWESOME. I have several Radioddity products and continue to be satisfied with all of them. For the money, they can't be beat.

Fast issue resolution
Radio is dual band unit but the VHF side failed, no power output. I contacted the Radioddity Service Support team via email and they reply promptly. Irene, the service representative was excellent and followed up quickly and sent a prepaid label and a RMA number and I shipped the radio back in exchange for a new replacement radio. Irene was very attentive and professional and turned the situation from frustration with a defective radio to a pleasant and easy exchange to a new radio, thank you Irene and thanks to the Radioddity service support team
