Horrible chemical stench
These filters smell like chemicals and have totally stunk up my house. I am airing them outside to see if that helps. Previous filters I bought did not have this problem at all, but this is my first time trying these specific replacement filters. Do not recommend.

Filters eliminate particulate matter from the air.
I like everything about the air purifier that uses these filters, except for one thing. They may be reasonably priced, I don't know; however, they cost $15ea., which might be reasonable but is still up there. I'm going to time how long each one lasts in the purifier before it requires changing. I've timed how long the filters last in our house: about three months. It's not as long as I'd like but they do a good job; neither my wife nor I cough as much now as we did before I bought the purifier.
