Defunkify Powder Laundry Detergent,

I started using this for my towels, because during the humidity of summer I could never seem to get rid of the musty smell no matter how many times I washed them. My daughter has severe eczema and is extremely sensitive to most detergents. I liked the simple ingredients and lack of fragrance - it contains none of her known allergens. So I thought it was worth a try. I was amazed at how well it works. Musty smell was gone, even got the funk out of exercise clothes, but without any added fragrance. And the best part was it didn't irritate my daughter's skin. Fast forward a year and we adopted a rescue dog. She's not house trained, has severe separation anxiety and is just overall destructive. I'm doing laundry daily because she's peeing all over the house. Defunkify actually gets the urine smell out. Bedding, pillows, rugs, you name it. It definitely lives up to its name!

Only stuff that works on my smelly teenage boys sports stuff! It’s expensive but saves so much time soaking and scrubbing and still not turning out great! It’s been a game changer! Would recommend for anyone with stubborn odour issues…

I purchased this detergent at the recommendation of someone I know that has had skin issues. My husband was experiencing severe hives all over his body. I tried everything. Changing everything detergents, soaps, shampoos; anything that I could think of that would touch the body. This went on for almost a year. Dermatologists gave him shots and skin test and we found nothing. Then I washed everything in our house with this detergent and it changed everything. No more hives. This has no fragrance and is supposed to be environmentally friendly. It dissolves easily in the laundry. I have bought bothe the liquid and the powder but I find the powder more economical. It’s expensive but for our family it was a game changer. I continue to use this product and would recommend to anyone who has sensitive skin or skin issues.

I used 6 scoops instead of the recommended 2 for large loads. I washed my clothes (a stuffed laundry bag that was forgotten for months) in a machine with warm water for 30 minutes. The clothes had no smell, very few stains remained on my whites (I don't like whites for that very reason, stains need the harshest cleaners to get removed). After drying for an hour on high heat the clothes remained smelling "clean", no smell at all, just the way I like them. I'm extremely satisfied with this product and as long as they keep to their original recipe I'm gonna stay loyal and keep buying as needed. Thank you defunkify!

I'm a man who exercises to the point where my clothes are completely soaked through with sweat. Regular laundry detergent and other home remedies like vinegar didn't make a dent in the odors that remained after a wash. I got Defunkify and it is a game changer. No more odors. Nothing but clean, fresh clothes. But you do NOT only use this detergent. You need to combine it with your regular laundry detergent. This is what worked for me: 1. Load washer with clothes in warm or hot water. 2. Use regular amount of your standard detergent for that load (I use Gain liquid detergent). 3. Add in TWO to THREE heaping scoops of Defunkify, depending on size of the load and how gross your clothes are. Don't listen to the packaging saying one scoop will suffice. 4. Let the washer run for 5 minutes to mix it up, then stop the cycle and let the clothes soak for 10 minutes. 5. Resume wash cycle through completion. I now wash all my exercise gear like this and my clothes have come out fresh every time (over 70 loads now with no damage to the fabric). I cannot recommend this enough to athletes and gym rats. One star off because the zip-loc seal on the packaging does not work, which doesn't really affect anything. I transfer it to a different container to keep it fresh.
