This works!
At first I had no idea what was happening. Then I learned through the Camellia Society of America that it was Tea Scale Insects that had for more than two years been steadily destroying the leaves on my large, quite old Pink Perfection Camellia bush. It was heart-breaking. I discovered Green Light 23000 Tree and Shrub Insecticide, which includes "safari," the recommended ingredient for attacking Tea Scale Insects. I ordered it. Immediately after application around the base of the bush (it goes down to the roots of a plant rather than directly onto the leaves), I began to notice new leaf growth. That was scarcely a month ago. Now the beautiful new leaves far outnumber the old scarred ones. And there is no sign of any Tea Scale Insects at work on the new leaves. One application should last 9 months, and there is enough remaining in the container for still another application. Several of the products containing "safari" that I looked at cost substantially more than this one. I'm so thankful I found it!

White fly infested ficus hedge solution.
We live in an area (South Florida) irreversibly infested with several species of white flies. The ficus hedges are becoming a thing of the past. That's okay by me because I don't like ficus hedges, but I want it to last long enough to provide privacy screening for a couple years while my native hedge grows in. After much online research, I found this Green Light (with Safari) product. It is a granular that is applied at the root so you don't have to worry about contaminating yourself or other plants with a spray/ liquid. I have used this product on our ficus hedge at about half the recommended dose (and only once yearly) for the past two years and it has worked beautifully for keeping the white flies under control and the ficus hedge thick and green. Thanks for reading, I hope this review was helpful!

This is great for treating Asian scale and is the best for treating this condition on the market.

This stuff really works!
I had the same problems with my camellia as the other poster. It was being eat up, the life sucked right out of it. Tried Bayer products, washing with dish detergent, lawn service sprayed it. If something did work, it was only for a brief couple of weeks and then they were back in full force. I happened to see some of this on clearance at Lowes, most likely due to the containers having peeling labels and not attractive anymore. They were marked from 48 dollars each to 5 dollars each. Guess I went a little nuts after reading the label, I bought them all. Glad I did to. Stuff works like a charm. Takes a good month to start seeing results, but boy is it worth it. Put it on mine about 6 months ago and the bush hasn't seen a bug since, and the leaves are healthy and glossy. Worked for scale on a hibiscus that was on its last limb also. I used it on my ten foot night blooming jasmine that had been eaten down to the limbs by grasshoppers, naked as a jay bird ugly. My bush is dark green, full of blooms every evening and not a grasshopper in sight. Very pleased. Would gladly pay this price to get some more when needed. When I think about how much I spent on all the other products over and over again, this stuff isn't too expensive. I think it recommends aboout a third of a cup per foot of height for bushes, or up to 2/3 cup per inch of trunk. That gives you an idea of how much you would need to cover a plant and how long the jug will last. Be patient and I think you will be happy. I was worried it would kill off my growing population of lizards, I think I have a good 50 or so around the house. Doesn't seem to have affected them at all. And the garden snakes show no sign of leaving. I let my sister have some for her azalea bush that had bug problems, cleared that problem up as well.Update: I did not put any more on the camellia after the first application to see how long it would last. Just checked mine today because of new growth and noticed aphids have started to form. So it lasted a good year. I know now to put it on in the spring of every year to avoid the issue. Even using it on multiple tree shrubs the first year I still have plenty left, about half a jug. So I will get many years of use out of one jug.
