This a major downer for me. Very poor sound quality.

A shame he left us too early....a master of his craft

I'll just cut to the chase on this one; a great remastering of a truly brilliant voice and performer that I am sure we all miss. The 3D imagery in the remix is exciting and the only sonic limitations are likely due to the limits of the audio technology available at the time of the original taping. The reason I did not give 5 stars unlike apparently every other reviewer, is for what I found to be an audio shortfall; for some reason the kick drum is never in the subwoofer, though other sources, most notably the bass guitar tracks, are. Am not even sure that would have been possible; perhaps it was not isolated in the original trackings, but whatever the reason I found myself missing the power such a presence would have brought to this amazing remix. Still.. this disc brings to a new height one of the great soulful voices of the 20th century, and in my view is a can-not-miss

The sound quality is amazing! I love DTS CD's. Wish they had a larger selection. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it didn't have songs like 'Too busy thinking about my baby', 'Inter City Blues', 'Sexual Healing', You're All I need to Get By', and 'Got To Give It Up'. Still worth it though.

I love Marvin Gaye music. It even sounds better in DTS .I wish the format took off. To here the music all around the room is great . I would love to here Bruno Marsin that format.

good compilation but uneven quality.......some older tracks sound better than tunes from what's going on album.......go figure

the sound of this dvd is awesome. even tho he made this music in the 60's and 70's its like hes singing right in right of me, having been privileged to visit hitsville USA in motown and stand in the spot where marvin sang, this dvd is awesome. yes- there are several songs I would have liked included but this is a great buy, enjoy it and remember marvin

Not bad, but expected better quality sound.

Great album and 5.1 surround really works well. Why can't all albums be done this way? Timeless classics recorded as they were intended.
