It's small but works the best!!
This one works very well. Call it "compact" if you want, yes it is a bit on the small size but for two hamburgers it is just right. If you like 'em big and thick you will have to squeeze them a bit to get them to fit at first, but remember...they shrink as they cook. I like this one because it is simple and well designed. Never mind the variable heat features and the so-called dishwasher safe, pull- apart models; they are poorly designed, loose and the sealed-in heat controls that quit working after a few uses. The only complaints I have are that the little Greece cup is a bit too small if you have juicy meats. So, remember two things (1) put some paper towel underneath to catch any juice overflow; and (2) remember to pull down the little flap underneath at the back. It that will tilt the rear end up a bit to hasten the juices to run down the grill surface and into the catch cup instead of over the side. Definitely recommend it!! Sometimes the old tried-and-true things work the best...this is one of 'em!!!!

Our Best George Foreman Grill yet!
We love this grill! Heats up quickly and grills our food nicely! We love this purchase and use it alot! Love that metal plates can be washed in sink or dishwasher!! We’ve had two previous grills and all have been excellent! This one has removable plates for easy cleaning! We love this feature!

Short cord, risk of damaging cabinets or hands with steam output but cooks as it should.
This is a good product however, if you place it on an angle your burgers can slide down onto the counter or the floor. Cleaning it is easy but I think that having removable panels is better. The size is perfect for small meals. Burgers and chicken cook extremely well. Just look out for the steam because it can be a hazard and it billows up. Keep it away from your cabinets and other things. The cord is a little short so consider placement. Otherwise, it does what it's supposed to do.

Grill up steaks fine but wish the grill plates came off to clean them.
I bought this as a replacement for the Forman grill that broke after years of use. This one heats up faster than my old one, but doesn’t have removable grill plates. I run water over it in the sink and clean it that way. All in all, it works fine, but You have to be careful not to get water in the unit. It cooks steaks and chicken breasts fine, but you can’t adjust the temperature for cooking. Still, we use our often and are happy with the results.

Easy and Fast
I've used this for grilled cheese, steak, hamburgers, brats and tenderized pork cutlets already and I LOVE using my family size George Forman grill. This is great for one or two people because it cooks SO fast and there is minimum cleanup. I was so tired of panfrying burgers etc. and having to clean not only a pan but a lid, utensils and my stovetop! I like it best for grilling meats a burger is done well, as I like it, in about 3-5 minutes, and all I do is wipe the hot grill with wet paper towels, and wash and rinse with a sponge when it cools down.

Works great, for about 6-8 months, but still better than a frying pan, oven, or microwave.
It does work great and fast....but....it doesn't last long. You'll get about 6 months before it starts to get really hard to clean and it heats uneven. I cook bacon in the morning with it 99% of the time and eventually, in about 4-6 months, it doesn't cook the ends on the sides and the top part, and partially the bottom part. So I have to rotate the bacon when it starts to cook to get it all cooked at once. A real pain. I try to put 3-4 thick pieces of bacon on it and then try to cook another 3-4. Takes a while only because of the uneven cooking. For the first 4 months or so, it works great though. Easily the best way to cook bacon. I've ordered 2 already and get about 8 months before I get sick of the uneven cooking and it never being able to be cleaned completely because of the burned areas around the middle on the bottom plate. Then....I just buy another one. Problem solved.

Nice little grill for 1 or 2
I've been enjoying this little grill. It's very basic, no temperature controls and very simple to use. Makes a tasty burger in a jiffy and I even enjoy cooking my ribeyes in it. Previously, I was making my burgers in a skillet and they were OK but because this heats up to a nice temp, it sears the meat nicely and gives a better flavor. It cooks very quickly as well. Top and bottom at the same time, no flipping. You can experiment to find out how long is perfect for you depending on the thickness etc. It does get very hot so don't plan on moving it around after it heats up unless you have high temp gloves or something. It also cleans up very easy as well. Here is one very important tip I can give you. Never EVER spray so called non stick sprays such as Pam on it or any other non stick skillet, air fryer basket etc. Because it will ruin the non stick surface and deteriorate it fast. I learned this the hard way after ruining several non stick items I owned and not knowing that the sprays were the cause. I learned that was cause in an article I read and since I stopped using it and only using regular oil in a sprayer if needed ( I use avacado oil) my non stick stuff stays like new and remains slick! Most of the time, you won't need any oil anyway if the meat has enough fat. The cooking surface is rather small but I find it perfect for me since live alone. It would probably be OK for 2 people also because it cooks rather quickly. Way back in the 70s we had presto burger. And they were great. Basically the same as this but the single version had a round insert to pre shape the burger. They also had double versions etc that had different inserts to cook different things. This grill works exactly the same way and make the same delicious burgers. It also makes great paninni as well, I've made several in it and they were crispy and delicious. Very happy with this simple purchase.

WHAT A KNOCKOUT! (Low-Hanging Fruit, I Know lol)
I recently bought this grill so I can curb my spending on takeout all the time, spent 80 clams worth of groceries to last me for the week so I can grill on this bad boy. Watched some YouTube tutorials, read the instructions, and yesterday was my first time using the grill, let alone cooking a burger without assistance, so I had burgers I bought, made four of them not all at once though; the burgers I bought were store brand and somewhat thin after I was done grilling 2 at a time. But the grill did it's job and cooked everything was cooked thoroughly. Burgers tasted good until my last half where they dried up. (Perhaps if the burgers I bought were bigger? Maybe get angus burgers next time? That's what I'll do.) I cooked outside in the backyard, so the heat distribution and smoke wasnt much of an issue. Though I can tell you if the flies were swarming around wanting what I was cooking based on smells, I muat be doing something right, right? Once everything was cooked and food was finished, I had to clean and put away the grill. My only complaint is how the grease tray swishes around and can spill. Next time, I'm putting paper towels inside the tray so that stuff can absorb into the towels. Other than that, some dish soap, wet paper towels can do the trick. Though the grill is non-stick, I still used the non-stick spray. Regardless, it was easy to clean. Its all about maintaining your grill; take care of your grill, and the grill will take care of you.

Great
The size is a bit small for two people but really great quality. Even though there’s no adjustable temperature settings, the meat is cooked to perfection even if you have accidents left it on it for too long.

Perfect for one person!
This is one of the best purchases I've made. Easy to use, light weight, and easy to store. Heats up in exactly 2 minutes. Clean up is a breeze... just wipe with a moistened paper towel. I've only had it for a couple of weeks and use it almost daily. So far, no cooking failures. Perfectly cooks Highliner Signature and Pan Sear fish (crispy outside, flakey inside), chicken (stays moist), burgers (removes fat), sandwiches, and veggies tossed very lightly in oil 1st. I even cut a sweet potato lengthwise in 3 strips and lightly oiled, it was great. I take it outside to avoid cooking odours in the house, and bring in when cool as it's so light but that's just my personal querk. Just remove the fat tray 1st so it doesn't fall out! I would not buy for 2 people unless very small eaters or perhaps if you eat everything in smaller dimensions and thick. 100% recommend!
